Word.  They almost lost to Pitt with a untested 3rd string QB.  If the D couldnt stop Pitt from scoring knewing full well it was mostly going to be running plays and play action what chance do they have against GB.  Ill admit GB was looking like crap half way through the season but they really coming on now.  Kinda like the Titans.  I thought Dallas -3 vs GB was a lock.

Flacco has been mostly Wacco this week.  He could barely score against the Browns.

 

Packers weak offensive line + Ray Lewis = Aaron Rodgers on the ground unconcious.

Seriously though, Ravens have one of the best defense, but Flacco can't score very well and thier field goal kicker seems drunk.

I have no idea who will win this one.

The Ravens are 20th in yards given up per pass attempt. the Packers are 5th.

The Ravens are 1st in yards given up per rush attempt at 3.5, but the Packers are 2nd at 3.6

Overall the Ravens defense is ranked 10th but the Packers' ranked 1st.

I agree, GB OL been giving Rodgers protection for the deep pass but do you seriously think they are going to have alot of time to run the deep route with the blitz packages Ravens will send Rodgers? The deep pass only works with protection and against shitty teams which GB have shown they can dominate @ the OL, but against a good pass rush/DL like the Ravens, I am not so certain.

So happy you have 4000+ posts on covers, but I've been doing this a long, long, long, time too but only have 900 posts. Haha, doesn't mean I don't know what I am talking about.

 

 

 

Didn't say you didn't know what you are talking about did I?  All I am saying is that it is kinda ridiculous for you to assume that I don't know the current over/under trend for MNF.  Dude there is like ten post this past week about this trend.  Sometimes you have to look a little deeper.  In either event at least we agree on BAL and BOL with your total play.  Short of weather changes, injuries or the line dropping like crazy I will be on the over.

Baltimore is putrid, Flacco really is in a sophmore slump....The D is not what it was and if you guys forgot a few weeks ago on monday night when the brownies played the ravens,Flacco barley was able to put up points.And that was against the worst team in the NFL, GB Has plenty of O to get it done and get it done BIG

I actually didn't play the total at all this past week.  If you had read my thread you would no that.  Again good to see that we agree on BAL but seriously I cannot tell if you are an arrogant prick or just trying to be funny with your comment "...we agree on Ravens so it's a start in the right direction for you."  If I recall correctly we have publicly disagreed twice in the past and I was right those past two times.  So maybe I should say the same about you.  BOL!

LOL... no peeping tom just a fan of Jessica Biel.  It is funny how many times I need to explain this picture.  She isn't peeing or anything like that and frankly not sure why they took this picture.  However, it shows her backside which in my opinion is the best part of Jessica Biel.  But I digress.

Rodgers is no bum and the guy can read and pick apart the blitz.  This will leave many players open because Ravens secondary is not spectacular.


The key to this game will be Ray Rice.  If the Packers can limit him then Packers should win comfortably.  But if this kid goes off, then Derrick Mason and company will be open downfield and Ravens will move the ball. 


Im a Packers fan, but I am also very critical of this team....but I like the Packers here.  Not liking laying points, but I still like the Packers.

Not true at all.  You clearly are only basing this on the fact that I was in adamant support of DAL.  Perhaps you should go through my posting history before making a hasty generalization as you just did.  As a matter of fact, I have gone with GB 5 times and gone against them 3 times this year with 2 no plays.  For the record, of the five times I supported them they are 4-1 ATS and of the three times I faded them they are 2-1 ATS (with DAL being the lone loss).  Therefore, your statement is not even close to being true.

Finally, so let me get this straight... you are saying that the GB Packers have statistically the #1 defense because what they only have allowed 281.5 yards per game which is the lowest (by a small margin) in the NFL so far this year.  Lets look closer at this shall we.  Okay so GB has played DET (twice), CLE, STL and TB.  If you remove those train wreck teams from the equation GB has surrendered on average 332.7, which would be right in the middle of the league.  So it is safe to say GB's defense isn't as good as it is cracked up to be and has been consistently exposed by good teams.  That being said, I will give GB credit in that Charles Woodson has really played remarkable this year and certainly capable of shutting down an entire side of the field in the passing game.  However, GB rarely gets pressure on the QB as shown by their 23 sacks which is near the bottom of the NFL.  If GB doesn't get pressure on Flacco (BAL has a great o-line by the way) and they cannot contain the very flexible Ray Rice GB is in for a very long day.

You also forget to address how GB figures to take care of the pass rush by BAL.  The GB o-line might very well be the worst I have seen in the last decade or so.  Once the biggest strength of the team is frankly a joke.  Aaron Rodgers is doing a REMARKABLE job despite a very pourous o-line.  Finally, GB has recently tried to recommit to the run.  I don't see them being success this week do that either.  No  matter what you play don't think for one second that I am a MIN homer betting against GB.  I have bet with them 5 times to the 3 times I have not.  I also have had a very good record with and against GB.  GB just doesn't matchup well with BAL.  BOL all the same!

Hey Jacko....The pathetic Ravens have lost 5 games this year by an average of 4 points per game,with a little luck they'd B 7-4 or 8-3....Their terrible D has given up an average of 1 point a game more than the best Defense in the league...Cinn 17 PPG.....If they find a way 2 win @ GB on MNF they will make it as a Wild Card.....Wake up Jacko.....

 

Relax,,,they'll come to their senses. Ravens are built to be in the playoffs, I don't think anyone will want to face them. Flacco will come around..in time....starting with GB on MNF.

this game is a tough one to call but as i look more into it, I am leaning towards the Ravens due to their ability to win the battle in the trenches against the Packers.
