I can assure the outcome of tonight's game has nothing to do with next weeks spread, unless Brady is out. That's just a ridiculous assumption, the Pats could lose or win 55-0 and it wouldn't effect the spread one point. Of course, the NFL won't allow them to lose if it's even remotely close, and that's a fact.

Just out of couriosity Achilles.....Why do you even engage with trolls who bring no value or valid input to the forum?
Reply with a and move on and continue to do what you do and obviousely the trolls can not and that's provide in depth analysis and above all winners. Thank You for NOT calling it quits and putting up with the daily nonsense such as you do.

The opening line was set NE - 1.5 before either team played, and was bet to - 2.5. There were 4 possible scenarios, both teams roll, the steelers struggle and pats roll, the pats struggle and the steelers roll, or both of them struggle. You're theory is NE can't continue to cover and PITT can't continue to not cover so you're banking on the law of averages, which hasn't applied to NE in the last 3 years. The Pats are 43-23-2 ATS since 2014. If you expect the books to make back money on a PITT cover, what line works in their favor? More points or less points? If they're gonna upset the Pats then it's a moot point. The best outcome for the line to move in favor of NE is a PITT struggle and an easy NE win and even that wouldn't change public perception enough to set the line tomorrow at NE - 4. And if PITT rolled and the Pats struggled it wouldn't move the line 2.5 points.

No one on planet earth has cost me more money than Jay Cutler. Take a look at his all time ATS rcord. There has never been a bigger Sissy to play the game of football! I bet on him years ago. Never anymore. I go against or pass. Best of luck. Jay Cutler needs knee pads but for a different reason than most!

I can't see why some people think the Pats are looking ahead to next week and will only do enough to get a win tonight. That's laughable, the Dolphins play them well and maybe they will keep it close but in no way, shape or form will the Pats take their foot off the gas for this game. They don't want to go into Pittsburgh needing to win to have a chance at home field advantage. They now need to win this game to keep pace with the Steelers. They are the better team amd even without Gronk out, they should roll tonight. Miami defense is not good and Jay Cutler is so inconsistent I could never put my money on him. Sometimes I don't think he even cares if he wins.
