Pittsburgh Steelers are still complete frauds...

So playing St. Louis, Seattle, and SF twice is a tough schedule? 

AZ got trucked by 28 (Philly), 21 (MN), and 40 (NE) in the last half of the season. 

Pitt got smoked one time all year....by a very good TN team. 

In a league filled with parody, I'd say 15-4 is pretty solid.   NE was the exception to the rule last year.  These 14-2/15-1 teams are going the way of the dinasaur with the salary cap, etc. 

Why does a champion have to apologize for how they got there?  I do agree completely that this team wasn't one for the ages.  But they went 12-4 and ran the table.....nothing to apologize for....

Any NFL QB that can't throw over the middle without the pass being tipped or picked or very close to it most of the time since they can not read coverage or his team hides him until the 4th qrtr with insta hike screen passes or flips out to WR since DB is 10 yards off or insta hike TE dumps as the only passes is allowed to make.

Otherwise the play is a bootleg to the wideside of field and flip to short WR in flat usually or sometimes wide open uncovered WR (hines 1st play)

If you have thrown 6 legit NFL passes the entire game until the 4th qrtr I cant call this a top QB.

Yes Pitt hides Big Ben if you understand football beyond stats and what the idiot media heads spew.  Pitt runs an easy to stop the 7th - 8th grade attack.

Check Pitt vs. San Diego and tell me how some team could not stop Big Ben rolling right to the wide side of the field and dumping to the flats the enitre 2nd, 3rd & 4th qrtr.

Check how many passes Big Ben threw to left side of the field that game or even last night, Dude does not throw to his left, I know, sounds crazy but is true.

Big Ben can not stand in a pocket and read a defense and complete very many passes. This is a fact and not even up for debate.

Funny thing is that a QB in Denver that all he did was win games and was destroyed by the media his team ran the exact same style of plays and (Plummer) was called a ???

Two wide outs on one side in i-form (madden players - i-form twin formation) or (singleback 3 wide on the same side) this is to make things at the 7th - 8th grade level of understanding how to make the simple simple reads.

Now all this said Big Ben's team has won two Super Bowls (Seattle not really but hey it's Seattle right and anyone living outside of Pitt knows Seattle won that game)

You cant take that away from his team, Seattle win was in despite of him, last night was a Team victory, Big Ben threw to right side of the field the enitre last drive of the game.

Only one play to left (1st td throw attempt from the 5 yrd line) and all passes were pretty much the exact same play to Holmes during the drive (10-12 yard curl), one flat pass to Washington.

Besides the last drive and first drive of the game, Big Ben was virtually a no-show

The point of this is Big Ben made the plays in the last 2 minutes even with as simple as they were he still made them, Pitt kept him hidden the game and manufactured his stats, (flips to Holmes, screens & insta hikes to TE for the most part).

They know how to use him.

Ben does not care about stats, plays in the cold weather, has no problem just being told not to make mistakes and wait until last 2 minutes of half and or 4th qtr and then he does what he does.

So it all depends on how you view and understand football.

Warner is without a doubt not even close, 100% fact a better QB than Big Ben when it comes to pure QB skills, reading defense, throwing in tight zones, etc but put Warner outside in the cold and he is not even close as when in the dome.

Big Ben is what he is, a perfect fit for this team at this time.

Skill wise in the sense of pure pocket passer he does not have much to offer, if NFL defenses cant stop this simple game plan that Pitt runs then Big Ben will always be way over-hyped.
 
Overated -- kind of depending on what you need from your QB, over-hyped yes.

Big ben is what he is, manages the game with a sick def, just do enough to win the game and dont lose it. (other qb's get crushed for this, media has love affair with certain players.)

You think what you want, I will take Brady, Hasslebeck, Rivers Aikman, Young, etc and many many others over Big Ben.

Teams just have to play a base cover 3 and not react to his scrambling and Big Ben wont be able to drive on anyone, until then the media hype will be always hype him up.

If the Steelers were as dominant as all their fans claim to, why did the game come down to the last play?

steelers fans....gotta love them, theyll defend their qb till they turn blue, and while they are blue they'll totally ignore that Ben played behind an amazing defense his whole career[the best in the last 20years , this year], played with the best blocking wr his whole career...and played home games on a field that they refuse to fix because it gives them a huge advantage. the sooner the steelers fans stop ignoring that, the less credit ben will get and the better that is.

yeah agianst team who sucks sea and arz pitt should drove arz has no defense at all it should of been a blowout win by pit sine there defense was soo good but what happen it didnt came to last play...beside ANY BODY i mean ANY TEAM can drive on ARZ there defense SUCKS PERIOD! if kurt had a xtra min pit would of been done there number 1 defense didnt even show up...but the arz defense didnt....they could of gotten so many more sacks but they couldnt if they did pitt would of lost...

beside BEN isnt clutch tell me when he faces NE then tell me wats the final score...only reason they won because of there so call defense...
