Gfoss I decided not to play. While I didn't agree with LC having this as a POY he is a very solid capper. Also can't help but think Falcons have two shots at homefield, with their last game at home to the Bucs. Maybe LC has a point. I think this is a tough week to cap. Next week too. I might play the Packers in running if I can get below -10. but my next big play is week 1 of the playoffs whereby there is nearly always one standout game
well said and well reasoned. you don't have to bet every game, and you don't have to bet a majority. in my opinion too there are better opportunities on the board. but i like LC's thread here, and the thoughtful comments by you and others -- cheers and BOL on the bets you did make and do make.

This makes no sense LC. Ur play of the year and you have 3 teasers and a small ML!?
Also an adept observation -- yah, what happened, LC? You get cold feet? Or is this a "final play" in addition to your position stated at the top of this thread?

Hey LCapper i've been watching your plays since last summer when you were on the same big preseason play as me: falcons @ steelers,,we got screwed on that. you really are consistant man. anyway, what kind of score do you see here? i see 2 damn good O lines and 2 very mediocre run games on top of 2 very vulnerable secondaries. an over of 50 really doesnt scare me. what do you think?
add to that, Ryan (for some strange reason) has been much better on the road this year. weird but true.
only downside i see is, lions have been rushed on of late (even by my Packers - epic 4q running drive that was "the dagger"), and falcons are at least trying to establish their run game. i.e., slower game, fewer plays, &tc.
still like the over on balance tho.

League, Ive been a lions fan since 92 and I believe they show up here. Ive got mine bought 1.5 to plus 6 which I call the schwartz insurance, allowing for a fumble, ST teams errors, pettigrew drops or bad routes, stafford half behinding his throws and mechanics, bad clock management, terrible 3rd down play calling, or in other words our 2012 Lions!
Lions should get a w and at plus 6 it is an extremely strong play boys.
GL everyone

Right there u just saw why the Lions can NEVER by a POY no matter what the situation. Great play followed by fumble. No running game, badly coached, and seemingly on the way to a beating....This was a bad call LC. The great thing about gambling though is learning these harsh lessons...

I tried to say that backing the lions here is NOT A POY!! You seem to have a lot of respect from the forum, but man I was scratching my head when you played the lions as a POY!! GET IT BACK TOMORROW, WE ALL MAKE DUMB PICKS, I DID LAST WEEK ON CHICAGO.

Relax guys, it was a system play and he went with it. Although I'm on the other side (only a 2x play) I could see some reasoning behind taking the Lions. It's also only the half at this point, and the Lions have what like 3 turnovers already? Without a couple of those it could easily be a very close game. They Lions are definitely capable of moving the ball, they just can't hold onto the damn thing.
