After what happened in the SB last year, I learned my lesson. Never, ever back a team after a DUI. When this happened to the Raiders this season, they went into a tailspin, and the NFL didn’t help them out one bit in terms of officiating.
Madden’s death brought back feelings of nostalgia and they rode that wave in beating the Colts. But all those good feelings went right out the window with this incident, and now all the talk will be about the Raiders being the DUI team. You think the NFL wants any part of that?! Plus, if Chargers win we might get a delicious rematch of Chargers v Chiefs in the playoffs. If you like money, bet the Chargers.

The NFL does not reward DUI. Rape, murder, spousal abuse, they’ll let pass. But not DUI. Too much money/alcohol advertising at stake.

Brett Favre's brother, Scott, was pardoned by Mississippi governor Republican Haley Barbour in his last day of office on Tuesday, one of nearly 200 people pardoned.
Scott spent a year under house arrest and two years on probation for a drunk driving crash in 1996 that killed his best friend.

I am not the one making a thread how the Raiders will lose. You are. Apparently you are all talk and too much of a chicken shit to backup your talk with cash.

96. lol. You might as well be talking about 1776. The NFL is ten times bigger than it was then. Meaning, there is a lot more at stake.

If the Raiders lose, it will be because they are a mediocre team. Not because of a DUI. And comparing this situation to the Riggs III situation is sick, at best.

Yes they do reward it. Those teams are in playoffs or Championships.. but depending on context, they then may lose those games.
Chargers are host city, Rams already made playoffs. Odds are Chargers lose

If the Raiders lose, it will be because they are a mediocre team. Not because of a DUI. And comparing this situation to the Riggs III situation is sick, at best.
You are twisting my words. All I’m saying is the NFL will not reward a team that brings DUI publicity with it for the next two weeks. That’s two strikes against the Raiders organization, not to mention Gruden. If this latest incident had not happened, I could see them advancing on Madden’s wings, but not anymore. Good luck with your Raiders bet.

Bro....I forgot more things about the NFL than you will ever know. Your points are still pointless. Most of those posters you are preaching to are old enough to be your grandchildren. They have no frame of reference for Ray Lewis, Brett Favre's brother or any of the crap you are spewing. "They this, they that"....we will never agree on your tinfoil ways. You keep appearing in all of these threads whenever we need a conspiracy expert...but we don't need one. You just keep irritating the rational people because you are a miserable human being.

If the Raiders don't advance, it will have nothing to do with a lack of "reward" from the league. If the do, it will have nothing to do with "Madden's wings".
