Nice write up but all those trends and numbers mean crap.. Jets defense is serious. They will slow down the wild cat and make Henne beat them.. He cant..
Sanchez will be a handing off machine.. Ryan isnt gonna put the game on his shoulders just like the game wont be on Hennes' shoulders for Miami. This is gonna be a ball control/field position game..A lot of punting fellas Jets will win the FG contest in a lower scoring game..
16-6 Jets
My write up a 2 minutes > your hour write up
and im gonna be right and you will be wrong.. Funny how it works that way sometimes

Thanks and yes -- all those trends are crap and quite irrelevant. I guess you missed that part of my statement.
Dolphins defense is serious. They will slow down the Jets wildcat and make Sanchez beat them. He can't. Mostly because Thomas Jones can't eat up yards. And Braylon Edwards will drop passes like he did all of last season with the Browns.
Henne will be a handing off machine. Sparano isn't going to put the game on Henne's shoulders. He knows what the Dolphins do well and thats taking the time off the clock and keeping the Jets offense off the field. This is going to be a ball control/field position type of game, fellas. Miami will win this game straight up.

Kane the only thing that surprises me is...Why a seasoned capper like yourself would take the dolphins SOO early. Im sure you shouldve known the line would move and you could get a way better line.

If you haven't attended a Fins/Jets game in Miami, they you should know there isn't much of a "home field" advantage because half the stadium are Jets fans - Same thing as when they play in the Meadowlands.
dr bob's analysis for tonights game for what it's worth -
Despite last week's loss to the NFL's best team in New Orleans, the Jets still look like a legitimate playoff team led by a very good defense that has allowed just 4.5 yards per play to a schedule of teams that would average 5.8 yppl against an average stop unit. That includes holding good offensive teams Houston to just 3.8 yppl, New England to just 4.5 yppl, and New Orleans to 5.6 yppl (the Saints are averaging 6.4 yppl for the season). Miami is a strong running team, averaging 184 ground yards per game at 5.0 ypr, but the Jets defend the run better than average (4.3 ypr allowed to teams that would average 4.7 ypr against an average team) and Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne doesn't appear ready for prime time after averaging just 3.1 yards per pass play in his first start last week against Buffalo. My math model projects just 237 total yards for Miami and favors the Jets by 9 1/2 points. However, there are some situations that are favoring Miami in this game, including a 176-98-5 ATS statistical indicator, and that will keep me from making the Jets a Best Bet

Great writeup. I just printed it out and now I'll go wipe my ass with it. I am more concerned with Oakland coming up than I am with this shit ass team. Number 1 rushing and number 1 rushing defense ? WOW They might not get a loss this entire season. Oh wait ??????????? what is their record ?????

nice write up, but you dont know any thing, u prob spend about an hour typing all of that and hte game comes down to one factor...... JETS D vs Henne. this kid is in his second start as a starter and he has to go up against a relentless power rush defense ... Godd luck i guarentee you lose your 500 BOL
I can appreciate the fact that you think the Jets can cover.
This is a close game - hard to predict for me but since mac is taking the Dolphins I am going to roll with him and Kane. I happen to agree and think the Dolphins will win SU.
However I was going to say that you made a few spelling mistakes and I dont know if you were in a rush to submit but regardless
of that- if he wins this bet, and I am hoping he does I have one question for you - would you still think that he "knows nothing"?
after all, he would have cashed his ticket . So we shall see if his pick turns out to be right or wrong. But I think he knows quite a bit about gambling as I have read his previous threads and he does know something about the Dolphins.
And lets not forget who your QB is - A rookie, who won his 1st 3 starts against some good talent- so your statement is a bit ignorant -no offense meant- but you should of remembered that Sanchez is a rookie also..It matters because that is the basis of your point
And the Miami D played pretty well against a guy named Peyton not too long ago in this same situation so I am thinking they can play very well against a rookie themselves.

Some of you posters are little more than obnoxious and rude. It is one thing to disagree with someone in their thread. The basic purpose of this site is to exchange thought and information. It is another to simply sound-off like an uninformed dickhead that drank too much Green Sanchez Kool Aide. What's up with all the hate people?
I hear you Kane. I see things the same way. Sanchez is as close to the HOF as Henne is. The Fins are all about ball control, and they are good at it. I checked your grades in hopes of supporting the "under".
