are kidding me gb no run game steelrs will destroy this team
Why are you still posting? Didnt you lose the wager in the Pats/Jets game when I told you if the Jets didnt cover, I would leave & if the Jets did cover, you would have to leave this forum forever...........oh wait, you were too chicken to man up like we all know if you want, there is one remaining game left this season, except for the worthless pro bowl. If you want we could make a wager on the super bowl, Packers cover, you leave forever & if the Steelers cover, I will leave, deal?

You can discuss & argue until your blue in the face why the Packers or the Steelers are the right side & it still wont be satisfactory to alot of people. I do have a write-up on page 2. Are you asking for another write-up?

Bring it PTB. Don't always agree with you, but I, for one, appreciate your write-ups.
I've been a GB backer all year, although right now I'm leaning Pittsburgh. So by all means give me more to think about.

heres a reason: pitt only played 2 good passing teams this year and that was NE and N.O.... the next best team with a real passing threat is a toss up between atl, nyj, or balty... and its not a coincidence that Pitt lost both games by double digits
NE-39 Pitt-26
NO-20 Pitt-10
both of those teams have stud qbs as well, and both had good pass D.... Big Bens gonna have to earn this one and not rely so heavily on his run game.... this is the best team pitt has faced all year and in either of their last two SBs.... Kurt Warner carved Pitt up, too bad his D was suspect.... Rodgers will carve Pitts weak secondary up as well and he has a D to back him up
THE PACK

The Steelers at #2 seed beat the #5 & #6 bottom feeders while the #6 seed Packers beat the #3, #2, & #1 seeds, yes.......the top 3 teams in the NFC side.
The oddsmakers are stupid & they know why they made the red hot Packers the favs, because they will win the super bowl. Lets say the Steelers were made a -3 point fav where all of us would have expected to see, what would have happened to the line? I tell you what would have happened. The Packers would have been bet hard on the moneyline & just as hard on the spread but where the free money comes in is on the moneyline & Vegas doesnt give away free money, at least not week after week like they did with the Packers against Philly & the Falcons.
Question is would the books have gotten even action on both sides making the Steelers a -3 point favorite? Possibly but why take a chance & get buried on the moneyline with the Packers. Im sure who ever is taking the Steelers will be taking them on the ML but I think this game will be low scoring & the Packers win 21-17
This is not a write-up at all.. So what if the Steelers beat the 5&6 seeds and the Packers beat the 1,2,3 seeds.. I would take Baltimore and NYJ over Atl, Chicago, or Philly on a neutral field. The seeding has nothing to do with how good the teams are, and GB should prove that.
The rest of the "writeup" was just about why in your mind GB is favored, and you basically use circular logic to say that this means GB is going to win.. So if Pitt was favored, you would have to throw your main argument out the window..
And finally you predict they are going to win by 4.. So think they are barely going to cover the spread, and the best reasoning you got is that "GB beat better seeds" and "the oddsmakers made GB favorites because they were scared of GB ML at +money" and all this makes you confident enough to bet $13,000 on the game??
Makes no sense whatsoever..

Whether the team I bet covers the spread by 1 point or 30 points, I highly doubt it matters to the bookie paying or collecting, a cover is a cover. I have had huge bets barely cover the spread & I have had huge bets lose by 30. AT the end of the day, I hope my team covers the spread & thats the bottom line. The final score of Packers 21-17 is my prediction for the game & I actually like the Under also but wont be playing it.

im not defending anyone, just adding my 2 cents, which is what most guys like to read i thought, not ripping you either
GB has big time advantages with their WRs vs Pitt secondary and their secondary vs Pitt WRs.... Pitt wont be able to run and control the game like they did vs nyj (in 1st half only really) cuz GB can score, and score quickly
