Texans or Bears - Survivor pool....

Lets hear it.  Which of these 2 have a better chance of winning SU on Sunday.  These are the two I am down to, in order to save the Ravens for week 17.

I am leaning Bears.

Jaguars have the No.1 pick in the 2021 draft more then likely Clemsons QB Trevor Lawrence they need two more losses to be in that position.

Da Bears Laying -7.5 on the Road Jags may or may not win but I like the +Pts to cover . . . . WTF do I know 

Bears.  Jacksonville is tanking for Trevor since the NYJ decided to finally show up.  Jags won't do that.  They are in the driver seat.  They lose the next 2 games.  With confidence.  Not saying they cover.  But the jags will find a way to "lose" the next 2.  Take it to the bank bro

Really? The hammer? I don’t trust them. I took the Texans. Bungles just played their SB. I know Texans have nothing to play for but they have consistently played hard for their coach. 

No doubt. But players are not tanking. A couple of mistakes by the Bears and suddenly they will get tight...

 I’d take Houston, mainly a play against the Bengals winning two straight especially after a big rivalry win.  They did lose to Cowboys 30-7 a couple weeks back too.

Who are the Texans to be laying points to anyone?

They can't run the ball, or defend the run.

Cincinnati just had their SB as BB said. This is true, but it's not completely quantifiable. We can only guess how they will perform following that big win.

I can make the case that the Texans played their ass off vs the Colts, and they came up short, missing a revenge spot.

Which team is feeling better about themselves at the moment, Texans or Bengals?

Sagarin has Jax the worst team in football. 5 points worse than Cinci(16.13)

He has the Bears 19.89, and Texans 14.70.

I'd steer clear of the Texans, and actually suggest a ML bet on Cincinnati, just because of math.

Which team can get 21 points because these situations are outstanding when they reach this threshold.  Advantage Bears because of the Jaguars record

Bears have a better chance of losing than Houston.

Jags players hearing all week how they’re supposed to lose to keep the #1 pick.  Slap in the face and disrespect to the Jags players...  They will come out hard and give the Bears all they can handle.  Why chance it?  Nobody is tanking...  Just ask the Jets players.  What incentive did the Jets have?

Ask yourself who do you trust more with the ball?  Trub or Watson?  

Give me Watson all day...

Lots of strong opinions.....  But fairly split between Texans and Bears.

Still leaning bears but going to give it two more sleeps before I lock it up.

Books do their best to get an even split on the handle.

Despite the loss of Hopkins and missing both Cooks and Cobb periodically, Watson has the 3rd best completion% in the league combined with the #1 yards per pass completed. That's an unusually impressive combination.  People forget how good he is. 

Personally like most folks I'll be stunned if either Houston or Chicago loses even though Jacksonville's offense would scare me a lot more than what Cinci currently provides. 

Bears. Jags biggest weapon on offense is OUT.
