For a West Coast style offense = no question Aaron Rodgers.
For a Play action and vertical passing offense = Eli

Rodgers, just as good as Eli if not better, and he's younger by a couple years.

Really?  Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL right now.  Dont get me wrong, Eli is a great qb himself but rodgers is so accurate its unbelievable.  on top of that he is mobile to gain yards rushing as well as score.  Aaron rodgers is the best qb in the league bar none.  his td to int ratio last season is nough said

Brees or Rodgers is a better comparison.

Eli is very solid, but not ELITE.

Rodgers.  Green Bay's defense is what let them down.  

The one thing Eli might do better is throw the long ball.  Rodgers has an edge everywhere else.  And a HUGE edge in accuracy.

And I like Eli a lot, but let's be objective here.

Rodgers had a season for the ages. Remarkable at that. They play in completely different offenses. I would complain having either of them.

  A little understated there Zippy... Rodgers had a pretty good year the SB year also..

I love how everyone who bashes either the Pats / Giants, Brady or Eli always says there also won their superbowl bet.

Don't you get a little curious to see how Rodgers would do in a different system.  I mean the great Matt Flynn threw for 6 td's vs. a playoff team. A lot of Qb's have flourished in the west coast type offense and then floundered in others. Ex: McNabb(Wash), Favre(Jets), Garcia(Cle), Kolb(Ari), Feeley(Mia), etc.... I'm sure examples of the other way are out there.  Rodgers is head and shoulders better than those guys. But the question was if I was starting a team and the choice would come down to which type of offense I was running.

look, Rodgers is definitely a great QB... but you guys cannot measure the value of a guy who plays his best football in the most critical time of the most critical game... you just aren't getting it if you would take Rodgers over Eli right now... seriously!

Rogers is the best qb in the NFL right now.Eli is good but not even close to Rogers, in my opinion.

Matt Flynn is better than atleast 50% of the starting qbs right now...you will see next year when GB lets him go.

He almost beat NE in NE two years ago the week after Rodgers got his concussion.

He is the real deal, who has had time to learn under Rodgers, who learned under Favre.

He will be a stud next year.
