If you consider the winning margin of 17 is a blow out then yes, Jets will get blow out.

I thought Cincy was going to win by 10 points too. Especially at the end of the first quarter.

Chargers were a pretty hot team coming into the playoffs.

I think they will control the whole game. SD wins by at least 14.

Chargers are my favorite play of the weekend.

Revis can't cover everyone.  SD has too many weapons and Gates should have a huge day.

Once the Jets fall behind Sanchez will be forced to throw and we know what that means.  Chargers by 17+

I here ya Crowkillers, I thought that too BUT the Chargers are a much better football team than the Bengals. The Jets lucked their way into the playoffs. I just feel SD has there way, nothing against the Jets, they have a good "D" but it won't be enough to over come a talented Charger team who wants and may get a super bowl title.

Im on board the SD train. SD is a class above the NYJ. While the NYJ D is absolutely solid, they will have more on their plate this week than they did last. The NYJ offense played perfect ball control offense in CIN, it will be hard for them to that again against a much better SD team.

Love SD for the fact that they can play both style, grinding it out with big plays to compliment.  If the Jets get down by 10 or more, I do not see the Jets able to keep up with their game plan of running the ball.

X-factor will be Sproles out of backfield. Did Cincy throw 1 screen that worked? Also, absolutely NO tightend contribution in Cincy-will be totally different in SD. BOL to all

Youre right. The presence of Gates will complicate things for the NYJ defensive game plan.

I'm liking the Chargers at this point.  In my opinion, asking Sanchez and the Jets to continue their good play for 3 weeks in a row is a little much, especially twice in a row on the road.   I'm looking for Sanchez to get rattled in SD and for the homers to win going away.

SD grinds nothing. they do not run the ball. unless you refer to short passing game to grind it out

jets drafted david harris out of michigan a few years ago to specifically cover tight ends. there will also be plenty of safety help given revis can cover anyone one on one

Chargers beat the Bengals by 3, Jets smoked the Bengals...line is too high, give me the points!

jets still not getting much respect....the SD front 7 will get manhandled, so look for the jets to run up and down the field....and the SD o-line is worse than cincy's, so rivers will be facing a lot of heat....gates will get some, but it won't be easy with harris and rhodes....the screens to sproles should be the main concern, but it won't be enough to win....defense wins championships, and the chargers don't have enough

my God this is going to be the easiest weekend in the history of the playoffs...

 

these threads are confirming every strong play...

people think the Jets will get blown out... but they are going to be shocked when the Jets don't just win, but absolutely dominate and shut down the Chargers offense, holding them to 17 or less...

people think the Cards are a live dog, but in reality they are the only dog that is not live... they have a terrible matchup with New Orleans, and are one of the worst teams to make the playoffs in the past 10 years...

people think Manning is gonna be too much for the Ravens... the Ravens are going to smash Indy in the face... Colts will make sure the game is close, but they are going home after this weekend...

the only remotely tricky game is the Cowboys game... Vikings most likely win, but since it is so close to call, you have to take the small value in Dallas on either ML or (+3) if you can find it...

Schmidty, you say "The Jets win outright". Wow, but ya never know crazier things have happened in the NFL, BUT, I just don't see Sanchez having another good day, he's a rookie that has achieved a lot for his first year, Chargers are the better team hands down, their rested and at home going against a rookie QB.

Chargers 34     Jets 14    my guess anyway

Ice4Blood you seem to have a real handle on these games, good luck to you.  Jets are the Jets and they will STINK this weekend.....I want them to win BUT I know they won't.

Jets defense will dominate the Chargers...

Ice4Blood, yeah I thought the COULD beat the Bengals..not sure if they were though. The Bengals are not the Chargers, you really think the Jets are going to beat SD IN SD with Sanchez.....
