Several really good games last night, well except for the let down in Minny. Speaking of let downs, the ATM's (Leafs), regressed. Tavares is released from the hospital so that is a good thing. Onto tonight.
Caps/Bs: series 2-1. All 3 games have gone to OT. Do you dare sprinkle on it happening 4 times? Personally, think the Caps have been physically dominating. Caps have scored 8 goals in the series to Boston's 9. Personally took the Caps tt last night at + money. They have scored 3 in 2 of the 3 games and I think they know they have their backs to the wall in this game. Go down 3-1, series is likely done.
Canes/Preds: series 2-0. Canes have outscored the Preds 8-2. Canes are avg. 34.5 shots/gm. The Preds PP is 0-10 in the series, including going 0-7 last game. One would expect a better performance from the Preds in Smashville, but I thought we would get a better performance out of the Wild last night at home. Sometimes a team is just better than another and there is nothing you can do about it.
Jets/Oil: series 1-0. Tight first game and score wasn't a good indication. Jets with 2 EN's. Interesting that there was only 1 PP in the entire game (Jets were smart to keep the Oil's #1 PP off the ice). Jets only managed 22 SOG in the first game. Don't think that will cut the mustard tonight. The big question is can Hellebuyck repeat his performance. I will actually look at the Oil in the 1P as I think they come out with a little red arse.
Avs/Blues: series 2-0. What else can you say, the Avs have been the most dominate team in the playoffs. Vegas is showing us that as they are -235 favorites on the road (compare that to the 2-0 Canes only being -135 favorites on the road). Avs have scored 10 goals vs the Blues 4. The Avs have an impressive 85 SOG in the first 2 games along with a 67% PP. MacKinnon with 5 goals and 2 apples in 2 games, a man on a mission. Over maybe?
Already have Caps tt. Early LEANS: Oil ML, Avs/Blues over and Blues tt over. Will decide later.
