Good morning Gentlemen and Jules
Yep, life gets in the way of sports at times. So much for saying Vasy is struggling. Heard this on the radio and it can be up for debate. If this was a boxing match, Tampa would have won on points in 4 of the 5 games but Toronto has 3 KO punches. Some of the fans expressions in the stands last night cracked me up. After the game was over, several had the deer in the headlights look, like "oh no, not again". This series is very entertaining not only for the hockey but for the story line as well. I commented last night, just how damn impressive are the Bolts! 3 straight Cup finals and playoffs again. Look at Avs, current Cup holders, they are struggling and might not even make it out of the first round but the Bolts are working on 4 years in a row. Sure Avs injuries are playing a part, but I can attest, the Bolts had injuries as well. It is something special. If Tampa wins Saturday, the squeeze is on.
I have no idea what in the hell has happened to the Rangers. Did you see Igor make a save and skate to the bench telling them to get off their arse's. Sure, I expected the Devils to improve from the first 2 games but the Rangers are just handing it to them. How are you down 3-0 in the 3P and get out shot 20-2. That is just quitting, period. That is on the players. I don't blame Igor. Wonder if the Penguins can make a blockbuster trade and obtain Igor. I mean, I promise you, he would get more effort from Sid, Geno and Letang than he is getting right now.
Didn't watch the last one, but as soon as Morrisey went down, that series was over. Bowness post game last night..lol.
Who goes home tonight and how many game 7s do we get? Opinions, because that is all I am giving as I can't pick a winner. I really thought Boston would be sitting and resting at this time. Are the Panthers capable? Damn right they are but Boston has responded and I feel like they will tonight. PLUS, I have watched Bob, he doesn't stand on his head back to back many times. My fade material is the B's tt over once again tonight and game over tonight.
Paint drying series: Isles/Canes. First one to 3 wins and it this point as hard as it is to believe it, I think it is the Islanders. Drury is listed as OUT tonight. No play for me here.
Bruiser Series: Dallas/Wild. Going to stick with my guns and I stated this is a 7 game series. This is a Wild/under or a Dallas/over to me. No play for me.
How hard is it to repeat? Avs are finding out. So Seattle's barn will be rocking. A chance to win the series at home. BUT, Makar comes back. Is Makar, Nate and Rantanen enough because the rest of the team isn't doing anything. McCann is listed as a ? Tough call on this one. Maybe the bet should be Seattle to score first because I think they have in every game to date.
Off to chase the little white ball. What do you want to talk about?
B, looking at some dogs in tonight's junior league but undecided.
