Finland/Switzerland o4½
This one you posted concerns me... Over...???
The Swiss have played well. They shelled Kazakhstan 5-1 by calling off the dogs in the 2nd period after thier 5th goal... Then they beat a very game Belarus team 3-2 in RegTime as well... The Fins on the other hand have showed very little to me in winning two 1-0 games over Belarus and Slovakia. To be honest... I played the Swiss to win in an upset and with the Under as well. I got Swiss(+275) and Under-5.5 goals at (-208) which I think is a steal since it will be a 1-0 or 2-1 type of game with the Swiss hopefully winning.
The Fins will be tough again on defense but I also like the Swiss defense vs them also. Are you uncertain about Finland winning...??? I noticed that you didn't post a pick on them. The book I used has Finland-1.5 and Switzerland+1.5 at the same price of (-118) which I also played the Swiss on with another ticket. If you like the Over AND Finland I'd expect you to jump on the Fins-1.5 at (-118) if you can get that.
I can't see this game going over 3 goals to be honest... but Good Luck
I hope Latvia crushes Italy who played a very dirty game vs Denmark.
I know that Belarus is NOT exactly a scoring machine which makes me cautious as well but I'm surprised that YOU did not take them at Belarus-1.5 for (-152) or at least the OVER-5.5 at (+110) since Kazakhstan has bigtime trouble on defense and in goal... 11 GA in just two games to Switzerland and France... not exactly like they were playing Canada, Russia or Sweden. My best guesstimate is Belarus 4-2.... or 5-1 if Belarus clicks on a PP or two. I also played it safe by taking Belarus-ML because I wanted to parlay it with the Over-5.5 at (+110) which is way better than the Belarus-1.5 at (-152) and since I think it WILL go over with Belarus winning it makes more sence to me to select those two. I hope Belarus AND Kazakhstan get me that over.
The book I used today has Russia-2.5 for (+110) which I think is a good deal but I personally did NOT play it. I think that of all the teams for Russia to face... that they would love to hammer the Germans... Russians have very long memories. The only problem is... Russia has a free economy these days... opening the door for lots of money to be made in sports gambling. I'm like ole Gen. George Patton... I just don't trust the bastards.
Just sharing my thoughts...

As soon as the Fins were given that quick (into the game) PP and scored... I had a bad feeling this would go over. The Swiss were a hairline or should I say goalline away from tying it up in the 3rd before they imploded. I really like the Swiss team... They played well in the Vancouver Olympics and have looked pretty good here despite the ugly score today. They will get thier upsets and I think they will beat team USA on May 15th... but before that they get Canada, France and Slovakia. I think they can take 2 of 3 there but then again maybe I'm just enamoured with thier play in close games despite losing them to big name teams.
