@GASportsDoc So tonight we're looking at Caps, Preds, and Stars for the split, correct?
Caps and Stars are a yes but Preds is a question mark. Don't have the man around to clarify the "no 1st liners out". I mean, your freaking starting goalie is out, would that qualify as a 1st liner? I would say anytime you lose your starting goalie, the system would not fit.

Pains me to say it being a NYR guy wishing and hoping for a deep run, but NYRs are approaching the danger zone...my local has PIT Penguins at +115 and pregame has Pens at +123 now, so..........
I will take the sage advice of those who came before me and take PIT (if my local gets to +120), or else I'm taking a pasadena on the game and rooting for my guys!!!
Cheers

This is a good question and by that I mean, according to the system, cannot have a first liner out. To me, if your starting goalie is out, that would be a no play for me. I know DeSmith has been playing but it is still not your starting goalie. And for me, that makes them a no play.

If you don’t believe it now you never will.. Quick in 2012 and rises again.. especially against these regular season offensive glory boys! No one cares if ya beat Arizona 7-2 in December, get ready to go golfing, Oil!
I recall following Lipps as far back as the Ducks and JS Jiguerre taking the Wings down at plus 200 in 2003! Believe I. This!
RIP Lipps!

I’m doing the great man a bit of a disservice here by playing the principle whilst ignoring some of the parameters. I went 2-0 yesterday playing the Kings and the Blues; the other two games never reached the threshold. Today I went 2-2 as the Pens just qualified. Both days a fine profit
Obviously the books offer larger prices for a reason. But the principle of the LS is that when you get to the playoffs there is an edge to be had on very similar caliber teams by this stage, so I feel a larger price might still offer value eg the Caps today
Would love to hear other views

TB is up to +110 at one of my books. So, if the first game the dog was not qualified (i.e. never hit threshold of +120), but they get to +120 in the back end of the L Split, does that count? I would argue "Yes", as the theory is that the trend is for the a split in first 2 and if you get the price above +120, you are in the profitable range of the system.
Thoughts?
