Thinking about playing the Mumbai Indians against Warney's team later on,Royals had a shocker in the first game,not sure they can turn it around so quickly against this Indians team who did well to beat the Super Kings,that Super Kinds team won last night and have some great players in it



Cant see Warney's team turning it around

Yeah the they looked terrible against Bangalore the other day however I remember writing them off last season when they got hammered in the first game as well
 
I think they will miss Watson's versatility this time around though

Nice start from the Knight Riders, looking good Rod.  Rain has come, but they're ahead on DL anyway.  Should cruise from here if the covers come off.

I'm hitting the Indians, they hammered the Royals last season, and away from India should have no trouble accounting for them again.  Duminy on SA soil, and the openers, geez, good luck Warney & co.

I'll take the win if this means the end of the game but am kind of disappointed because I was really enjoying Gayle teeing off. He has such an amazing eye and really just relies on that given he has next to none footwoork

I liked the Indians at $9.00 preseason to win the comp.

Just from looking at the rosters, that was my #1 hunch.

Nice start for them knocking off the Super Kings in Round 1.

Passing on Game 1. Australia looked a tired bunch during the recent ODI series against the Saffers.

However Symonds and Watson may provide this team with some impetus, will see what their effect is on the team.

Should be a close one Rod.  I actually like Deccan based on their match against the Knight Riders, no superstar bowlers, but Edwards and Singh did enough to limit the top order. 

Bangalore have appeared terrible thus far, and only some wild batting from Warneys men gave them a win.  Too much reliance on Pietersen and Dravid in their batting order, I don't consider Kallis to be the best T20 player despite his efforts last up.  Steyn will be a worry for the Chargers, but if they can see him off, Gibbs (great form) and Gilly (now that his eye is in) may do some damage and Sharma has the ability to absolutely smash it.  Hinges on Steyn for me, if he takes 2 in his first spell, Bangalore win.

Deccan for me in this one, but best of luck Rod.

Well at least Watson scored a few runs however Symonds fails again suprise suprise

Australia really have serious issues with their top 6 batting at the moment.

Going to give Bangalore another shot tonight even though Dravid is out and their top order is struggling. KP is too good of a batsman not to start firing soon. Pretty much a must win game for them already.
