Then Paki in the final inning will be about 2-200 and collapse to be all out 240........

Ponting and the team will be celebrating as if they are good and beat them legitimately, little do they know Paki will be betting against themselves full time in this game

I think it may also be an indication of how highly he rates our bowling attack.

This would have to be the worst Australian team for, well, a long time.

Haven't checked Australia's schedule between now and November but I sure hope they've got a tonne of matches on the slate. This team needs lots and lots of cricket to be at its best for the Ashes imo.

There is a massive gap between this current Australian team at its BEST and at its WORST. Unlike the good old days when we were loaded with champions who could pretty much hit their straps whenever, wherever.

Mitchell Johnson is a prime example - at his best he's danger at test level, at his worst he'd struggle to get a gernsey with the West Wyalong 2nds

this is cricket, not much bowlers can do to counter / cancel out what the other team's bowlers do

Because we're so fcuking arrogant and have been for years that we think "six inches outside off stump" works anywhere, everywhere around the world EVERYTIME.

Australia's bowlers and bowling tactics have been rigid and unyielding for years. And with a captain who is clearly too stuborn to alter his approach no matter what the conditions ect, things are hardly likely to change. 

One of the funniest / most tragic sights in world cricket is to watch when the ball starts "reversing" and Australia is bowling - our bowlers don't have a fucking clue how to handle it  

Yes they can

Pakistan were able to use the swinging conditions to perfection. Australia were left were left wanting, none of the frontline pacemen showed much control in the first innings. The fact that their 4th choice paceman was the only one who was able to find a length and swing the ball clearly shows there is something lacking with this bowling unit.

In the past the majority of the Australian batsmen played County cricket during the Australian winter which enabled them to get the exposure against the swinging ball. Sadly these days that isn't possible given the packed schedule.
