Nice hit Dalshim. Didn't watch the games but the score line suggests that there was a good pace with very good shooting. I did watch the 1Q of the USA game and thought it was over just after that 32-7 first quarter but looking at the box score, they did fight back a little but what a disappointing WC for them.

Will have a play for the 2nd game, I couldn't make a play on Spain v Aussies because I didn't want my Aussie emotions getting in the way

Argentina vs France: France -6.5

I really like Gobert in this game to beast. The French turned to him vs the USA and it paid dividends big time. The Argentians are driven by Campazzo who is a great guard but feel as though he may have a tough night against the French.

Unfortunately the Aussies are out and cannot make the final and I think we see an all European final with Franc vs Spain and then Aussies fight it out with Argentina for the bronze.

Free throws all game long were the game winner. Aussies not good enough and the Spanish hit them all night long. All it took was one more free throw to go in and the Aussies would have won that game. We lost to Spain in the Olympics by 1 point and now we lose to them yet again in Overtime.

My bad BigD, I missed this post mate. Wasn't online for the last few days after the French team mailed it in against Argentina and there was no WNBA on either for the last few days.

Saw that Draymond Green and Steph Curry have apparently committed to team USA for next years Olympics already. Silver probably gave them a call and said you need to play after this embarrassing World Cup.

Win or lose this next play, I am still happy with the bets I made in this WC. Been very entertaining with probably the two most consistent teams in the final. Not just being bias, well maybe I am but the Aussies did play very well and deserve to be the in the final but we can only have two. The French after that effort vs Argentina definitely don't deserve to be there, Serbia and USA MASSIVE letdowns and the Czechs were fun to watch as well, they just ran out of gas playing that crazy tempo they do play at. Poland was a pleasant surprise as well, the Greeks massive letdown as well. Moving onto the final;

Argentina vs Spain: Over 154.5

I don't think we see a free flowing game but I do think we see a lot of contact and clutch shots. Both teams will most likely use the shot clock to almost 20 seconds at least, meaning we probably only see 3 shots per minute, which equates to around 120 shots, which the Spanish have averaged around 65 shots per game and Argentina 66. Both teams averaging around 45% field goals. These teams make around 20 two pointers per game, with the Argentines taking close to 40 attempts and the Spanish 35. The Spanish free throws were great against Australia, think they missed just 1 by memory and the Argentines are hitting around 77% from the line. Spain pretty bad from three points, hitting just 31%, going 9-30 as their average and the Argentines are around the 36% mark hitting 9.7 per 26.4 attempts in this WC. Nonetheless, all these stats can be quite irrelevant when capping a final because both teams can be ice cold as well due to pressure and whats at stake but I am going with the over as I think we see both teams going on some mini runs with the other team going harder to crawl back into the game. I think this game will be a roller coaster ride and end up being something like 82-77 kind of result either way.

Great tournament Aussie! Good luck with the Over, the pace of the game worries me, could just be one of those disgusting grinds but for your sake I hope that the points are flowing fast and free

Pity that didn't show that kind of heart against Argentina the other day. They fought hard in this game vs the Aussies and deserved to win the match. The Aussies just fell apart, and I wish Simmons played during this WC because he and Mills would be a great combination.

I was worried for a while there, particularly with Llull literally standing at half court dribbling for 22 seconds then heaving up 3’s.

All those fouls and a crazy last quarter made this go way over in the end.

Thank you Peekay, the game was insane in the 4Q. But happy with the high scoring last quarter because the game died down a fair bit at the start of the 3Q but was nit to hit my last play of the tournament.
