Cheers BigD.  The Sparks finished 3rd for us which is great. So it means that they will play either the Mercury or Storm/Lynx which I think they can get past which then sets them up for a 5 game series with Connecticut which I much prefer in the semi's rather than the Mystics. Hopefully the Sparks can steal a road game (get given 3 chances if it goes to 5) so lets see what the next few weeks have for us.

Looking forward to NBL and the WNBL mate. The NBL though has a lot of new players I am not too aware off, plenty of youth and young college kids coming across. Around 4 weeks to go until tip-off

Is that the line is it BigD? I haven't seen the lines for that but man that does seem low even for this US team. They have been playing really structured, and I guess that's because of Pop and they way he does things. At first glance, I would say I lean the USA team to cover that. France have been too sporadic for my liking where USA have just been going through the motions and not playing NBA Jam kind of basketball which is nice to see for once.

With that line-up, Melbourne should be fav's to win and it if they still healthy, I cant see any other team beating them. That line-up is looking ridiculous right now.

Taking this game as I think we see a massive blowout in this game which some might not agree on but I think it happens. I see a 15+ point win

 Czech Republic vs Australia: Australia -9

The Aussies have had 2 tough games against France and Lithuania which they both covered as dogs. Now they are laying -11.5 to a country like Czech who were ranked in the mid 20's before the WC started and have really surprised us all. I think this is where we see the NBA experience take over and the Aussies get a real big solid win tonight and advance to the Semi's.

Might be my final play of this WC unless something really sticks out to me in the semi's and the finals.

Not too sure on these totals mate, that 169 total seems rather high and if things go the way I think they will, it could be an old fashioned blowout where sometimes the scoring dies down especially in the 4Q if the game is already decided.

The USA team have been playing great defense in this WC and really haven't allowed more than 80+ points in regular time. I actually think both games could go under tonight.
