Decided to stay away from that game.Not a volume bettor, more selective.

If that line gets around -6 then I will take the USA team because the French team has not impressed me at all, with close wins against Germany and Lithuania and blowout wins against DR and Jordan but USA as we all know are a complete different team playing great D.

My question firstly is will the French beat USA? My answer to that is a pretty solid no; sure it can happen, but in the final of a World Cup, with how both teams are playing, unlikely.

So then I have to ask myself if in my mind the USA are certainly going to win, then are they only going to win by a low single digit margin. The US only have to outscore the French by a single bucket per quarter which seems very doable. Plus the French strengths come from guard play and the US have really ramped up their D the last few games, I haven’t seen them take many possessions off.

in saying this I might just sit back and enjoy the game or play a total, but the line does seem low for what the US are capable of doing to anyone.

Aussie I haven’t seen too much of the French.

But I have noticed that the USA really struggle against teams that have a lot of cohesion and have been playing together for a very long time (like Australia).

do the French fall into this bucket?

Our players are going to be fired up for this

A lot of our NBAers want to prove they deserve to be recognized as equals of USA players, and Fournier Gobert Batum are capable of competing hard against a quite weakened USA team

the main problem is the rest of the team

except De colo, ntilikina and albicy are below average

Poirier is good but one sided offensive game

The rest is meh

I think we are going to compete the first half then getting  abused by USA guards to lose by around 10 IMO

Unbelievable. What good games to watch coming up.

Looking at the schedule, these semi's will be on the 13th so each team gets a days rest.

We have the 5-8th place games tomorrow, with Serbia taking on USA and Poland vs Czech. Not too sure I will play but will see what happens. Satoransky looked absolutely exhausted after playing almost every single minute of that game and will find it tough to back up tomorrow to play the Polish.

Great news is that we are also qualified for the olympics with the Australia win over czechs, so thnak you aussies haha.

For you Spain is a Huge piece, favroites IMO right now.

I'd rather go against Australia for the Final , because spain and france share a lot of bad history in basketball between each other, it's going to be a bloodbath

Aussie mah man :) Tomorrow Serbs -Usa ,both teams are certainly disappointed, but I think the usa is much more at the moment. I think that motivation will play a big role in tomorrow's match and I think it is definitely on the side of Serbia.I am from the Balkans, I know how this people works, I am sure that Serbia will play a very good game tomorrow because there is no more pressure. The media has put a lot of pressure on them before the start of the championship and I'm sure it has affected the matches with Spain and Argentina.I also expect a slightly smaller minute for Mitchel and Walker because the NBA season is fast approaching and this game has no meaning for them. On the other hand, I listened to the conference today. Sasa Djordjevic stated that they were very motivated and would do their best in tomorrow's match, proof enough that Vasilije Micic stayed with the team even though his mother died 2 days ago.I see Serbs win this! I would love to hear your opinion as well .gl bro

Euforiaaa, these games are always tough to cap because what motivation do they have? What you posted is very good information and I wish more posters would post information like that because it what can help us cap a game. Did not know about Micic's mother passing away and that's a big call for him to stay with the team especially since they are eliminated. The USA have now lost 2 games in the past 3 weeks, once against the Aussies in a friendly here in Australia and then again last night vs the French. Serbia have to play big, once Gobert got involved against the USA they had no answers for him. The Serbians need to do the same tonight and just pound the paint and let their bigs do the talking. The line is very short though, I am seeing just -4 right now in favour of USA. The total is crazy high as well, around 171 I believe. I am just not quite sure what motivation the USA team has. It doesn't seem to bother them that the WC is over for them and they will be going home soon. Maybe you are right, Serbia had a lot of pressure on their shoulders leading into this WC and it has been a pretty big disappointment for them so maybe they will get up for this game. They also have had an extra days rest..

Decided I will take the night off and sit back and watch these games as I cannot get a read of the teams and motivation. Czech and USA both backing up from last night, the Czechs and especially Satoransky looked exhausted last night. Just not sure which way to go. The totals are too high for my liking as well.

Back tomorrow for the semi final games.

I don’t mind the Poland play, Czechs out on their feet and I don’t think they will run Sato into the ground this game and they look lost without him on the court.
