Frankie ..... Off the top of my head , I would be leary of Florida tommorow . They have won the series & As I recall they can flounder in early day games after night games at home sometimes . I have nothing in front of me to back this up , it's just going off of my memory . I have bet a lot of Marlin games . I remmeber this being so the past few years . I like the team too . Young , full of talent & desire . Over / Under at 9 . Over maybe ?

You raise a good point with the Nats & the day line up . They would have to score 3-4 for me to feel okay about it & I'm not sure they can do that . I would play The Marlins up to -135 tommorow .

good luck guys. I watched Danny Cabrera his whole career. He always pitched better when it was hotter out(fastball was always a little faster) . I wouldn't be too surprised to see him do better going to the NL, especially against some free swingers like the Fish. Now the 5 or 6 walks Dannny Cabrera is always possible, but be aware he's not a terrible pitcher, just has had terrible control in the past. Something tells me the Nats give him a boost

Redsox look good again tommorrow with Lester up,Rays hardly ever win at Fenway and Kazmir is overated IMO,everytime i've seen him pitch he got smacked around with ease,

Sold some of the Cubs back at +133. . .  Still have about 2.5 units to win 1.9, probably going to take a stance on the Cubs, hopefully it evens out somewhere around -120

Can someone please give me a link to where I can find Pinny's opening lines?
 
couple of quick thoughts....
 
Cabrera at less then +138 is a  no play... The value fell very quickly on that game. 
 
Like Vazquez and the Braves at any + number...
 
Why not take Kazmir if a lot of you think you are getting a good number?  If you don't bet at good numbers what is the point of betting at all?

Not really. I wouldn't fade Duke just yet. However, the over will probably hit again.

Volquez was lights out in April last year,Think this game has a better shot at staying under 8.5 runs than a side...

I agree that Kaz is Overrated....Dont know about the team total but I like Boston tomorrow...Price is a little high though

People go back and forth about how to bet baseball. You'll often hear that if you feel you are getting a "good" number then you have to play it. I completely disagree. I could feel Kazmir and the Rays are getting a good number at +135. However, there is usually a reason why rock solid pitchers and teams are getting an attractive + number. They are playing an equally talented team and starting pitcher.

 Boston probably wins this game far more often than they would lose it. Last year's team is all anyone will consider when comparing these two teams. A reasonable approach considering that it reflects the current roster and state of the team. I hate historical trends and don't usually consider them to have any value when breaking down a game. I just can't ignore that Boston is something close to 20-6 at home against the Rays since  2006. It is more dramatic the farther you go back but you lose any true value going that far back. I'm not sure that Boston will continue to beat the Rays at a 4/5 clip at home, but getting them at less than -150 at home is probably the way to go if selecting a side in this one.

I completely agree.....Value is definantly on Kaz +140....But I still think that Lester will win this one

Even though there is value on Kaz, Boston should still be the play. Read Walks reasoning above, but in short, the Sox own the Rays at home. I love the Brewers today, they have a sick lineup that is really hitting the ball hard. Even though they took the loss the slapped around Tim L. one of the games best pitchers. I think they roll today...
