 Yeah, holding the Eagles to just 2 FG's there was big. I was a little surprised how well the Eagles OL held, because Hurts was quite well protected, but he didn't have anyone downfield to throw.

TD 49ers, 14-6 and everything is going according to plan, until now.

Looking at this site a little further...the Eagles have been called for only 2 defensive holds all year. And only 4 on offense. 6, all year. These are subjective penalties. Not like a false start, where you can't hide that.

Take a gander at the Cowboys, they've been fighting the zebras all year on penalties.

What a dumb penalty by the 49ers, do they want to make the game more interesting?!

I'll be rooting for the 49ers to kick the Eagles chin in and the Cowboys to take them to the Shed next week.

It looked to me like Greenlaw was in the field of play when he made that tackle.

 It seemed excessive, the way he threw the guy out of bounds, but you might be right, because I don't think they showed more replays, after the brawl broke out.

I don't think they should've thrown him out though, he was provoked by the Philly sideline....  luckily for the 49ers the Eagles look gassed.

Meh, 35 - 13 SF... this went as expected after all, I don't think we're gonna have a game like this soon, I mean in terms of how obvious the play on the 49ers was.

Eagles don't look good for the game in Dallas, but that game should be a test more for the boys, since they lost the first encounter in Philly. So if Dallas wins the game, both game may very well end with the same record, at the end of the season, so what's the tie-breaker? Points scored in the h2h games?

Man it's so funny watching Flacco taking the Browns down the field and making great passes

The Eagles receivers are walking on some routes.

Their o linemen continue to hold without penalty. 

Just end this all ready

Tie breakers go as follows;

• Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
• Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
• Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
• Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
• Strength of victory in all games.
• Strength of schedule in all games

 The first two will probably end in ties.

It would fall to 'common games'. I'm too lazy to check on that.

Of significance, Dallas has a very tough schedule after the philly game

@ Bills

@ Dolphins

Lions

While the talking heads will hype the Dallas-Philly game, the reality is even if the Boys win they will be hard pressed to win the next 3. Thus, next weeks game is realistically not for the division

Ok, so even if they win against the Eagles, Dallas has a much tougher schedule left, because after a win both teams would be 3-1 in their division, but the Eagles have 2 games left against the Giants, while Dallas has to play the Lions @ home and Washington on the road, not to mention they also have to play @ Miami.

It looks like the Eagles would still win the Division, even with a loss in Dallas, so the question remains: who will be the #1 seed in the NFC? By the looks of it a 14-3 record is doable, for the Eagles, other teams who could finish with the same record, as the Eagles, would be Dallas, SF and Detroit. Since Dallas and Detroit have to play a game in Dallas, this basically guarantees one of them can't finish 14-3, which only leaves the 49ers, as the main challenger for the Eagles, and their most difficult game left is the one vs the Ravens, at home. 

In conclusion, everyone is gonna hammer the cowgirls  next week

 Yeah, because if Dallas beats the Eagles they would be 4-1, in the Division, with only one game left (I made a mistake in my previous post and put the Lions in the Division ) against Washington, while the Eagles will have 2 more to play, against the Giants, so both teams can finish with a 5-1 record in the Division, so the Jets game becomes the tie-breaker.

Anyway, I think it's really unlikely we will see this scenario, the Cowboys have a much considerably tougher schedule...
