Sagarin's 4 models have the spread averaging TB -8.17 Bears sos #8Bucs sos #23
Pro football focus srs including sos and 3 pts for hfa says TB -8.98
TeamRankings says TB -10.4
Remember the look ahead was TB -7. They won at Philly by 6. Bears lost to the Packers by 10. How much can one upgrade TB for that win and downgrade Chicago for that loss to get this spread to 13?
I made the mistake of thinking the Bucs were coming off a bye earlier, but it's just extended rest off of tnf.
I hope that I don't find myself going insane on these Bears lines all year.

Who's the backup? Your boys have given up 1867 passing yards this year, 2nd highest in the league
.
Malik Hooker will probably start as FS now. They have been easing him in for the last few games. He will never be his pre-injury all-pro self again, but he hasn’t been bad.
Kazee had been playing ok, but had a disastrous game on Sunday. Everyone keeps talking about Diggs on that 4th quarter 75 yard TD pass, but Kazee had deep coverage and could have gotten an INT, or blown up the receiver, or at least tackled the receiver, but instead opted to just run by him and do nothing. He was there in time, he just did nothing. Perhaps he had already started drinking

I too have pondered this.

Man, all of this Ravens talk keeps reminding me of:
and also quotes from The Wire, keep popping up in my mind...
These 2 MLB series have been wild, glad I didn't make any bets, I would've failed. The Braves bullpen had been overperforming, until last night when it finally cracked, they were 2 innings away from going 3-0 up. While in the other series, both teams have been clobbering each other, all 4 games going over, will they make it 5 in a row?!

I fell asleep before the Red Sox bullpen meltdown. Pivetta was great.
I think Chris Sale is on deck for the Sox. He's been awful as a playoff pitcher. The guy's wind up is too timeable for hitters. Not sure if timeable is a word. If he took a pause once in a while his stuff would work much better for him. He's also very lengthy, I'd like to see him throw his front leg higher to hide the ball. If you guys watch tonight take a look. Same quick motion every time. To the batter it's like timing a pitching machine in a cage.
Framber's downfall is walks. The dude's sinker and change up are great, he's a ground ball factory. And that's what you want in that park. The Stros can go up 3-2 heading back to Houston if he throws strikes. His shit is hard to barrel.
HUGE game, the most pivotal of the series imo.

I gave Vero today's play, yesterday. I thought he needed some love.
