it's not going to be much of surprise when the ClubDirtSports.com most underrated team comes out but we'll leave that alone for now.
many teams deserve to be in this group so we focus more here on fumbles lost. it's no surprise to see a vick/foles led team here. or detroit which passes too much, had an aging OL and a shitty defense that forced the team to throw every down to come back to be here.
same for the jets with sanchez and such a mess of an offense.
the only real interesting names here are dallas, which is building indicators to be a strong underrated candidate for 2013 and of course, that other team we won't mention much until later.

teams that had the worst turnover margin last season

of course, philly has the vick factor and they may still have the vick factor so we don't look at that one the same. in other words, if vick is going to be your qb, you can expect dumb decisions and turnovers. the and older he gets, the less he realizes he's isn't as quick and athletic as he used to be.
a little surprised to see the jets here but as i recall, sanchez fumbled a lot so we can kind f put him in a similar category as vick.
buff is interesting. i figured their high turnovers were mostly due to fitzpatrick but maybe there was more bad luck to it than i thought.
really just interested in seeing KC and buffalo here.

ok, here were the worst teams for fumbles lost in 2012

everybody and their brother loves froome and is giving the hopefully clean contador no respect...you play the field +118 vs froome just because you respect numbers and yourself...doesn't matter the end result.....100th running of the bulls with more than average climbs will shimmy who is who, and it won't be a brit this time ( no disrespect )..show me
my hawks will take a step back this yr and my tigers will take a step forward

What is interesting is that the Rams despite getting an average of almost 5 points on the spread per home game were still 5 games under .500 ATS during the last 5 years.

i'd throw in the wife too. and you'd have money left over.
a little early to make any strong opinions about nfl. i've resisted the temptation to look at these week one lines some books throw out there in june. seems like they are just looking for action junkies.

saw some numbers on offensive line starters for next season. we like to fade teams coming in with old offensive linemen (i.e. average age of 30 or so).
nothing much to work with this season. looks like the giants are coming in with a fairly old OL and that's a huge deal with that team as much as they rely on eli and the loss of bradshaw (a very good blocking RB) and wilson getting more snaps (not a good blocking RB) so that may be something to look at.
other than that, pittsburgh should be starting a very young OL. this isn't a huge deal since young doesn't necessarily mean bad and ben doesn't need as good an OL as most qb's, but it's also something to watch, particularly earlier in the season.

The Jaguars is an underdog at home... Andy Reid will have the Chiefs ready to put up some points..... The O/U is set at 39.... you know what I'm taking

Chief -2.5 vs. Jaguars

chiefs were previously leaked as lead contender for ClubDirtSports.com most underrated team this season. i'm starting to get worried though as i've seen a lot of love for them this offseason.
jaguars could also make that short list though. i don't love that opening matchup for the chiefs. hard to read that line too. is 2.5 high enough to tempt people on the home dog? if i thought that, i'd be on the chiefs. highly doubt i'd be on the fulham jaguars. getty will give us some input.
cyrax, the jaguars will score more this season. might be a good place to start for an over although the chiefs, if they are smart, will work with a short passing offense mixed in with a heavy ground game.

In order for the Chiefs to eclipse 7.5 wins(their current U/O future), they'll have to improve their W/L total from a year ago by 6 games. How many teams have done that in the past 10 years ?
The last time the Chiefs went 2-14, they followed that up with a 4-12 record, which is about what we should expect from this season. The masses buying into a KC renaissance this soon are gravely mistaken.

getty is down on the chiefs as the potential ClubDirtSports most underrated team. but keep in mind, although it is partially judged by whether they eclipse their season win total, the primary factor is how they are perceived each week and whether they have a good season ats. of course, one usually follows the other.
but there are two other candidates for most underrated team. that particular newsletter usually isn't released until mid august.
