not sure what they were talking about in the nfl forum (i didn't look but just going on what was posted here), but the better team won last night. also, coaching matters on thursday and flores was a master last year. that being said, when miami called a draw on 3rd and 8 or so and then got to 4th and 1 and then punted, i was ready to call for him to be fired and that was the only time i was a little concerned about the total bet. what was going through that guy's head?

SF down to 3.5. looks like i was right about that line, but i didn't pull the trigger. i might still take NYG at 3.5.

washington is pretty solidly at 7 although you might be able to find 7.5.

otherwise, i'm surprised to see indy up to 12.5 at some places. do people really trust rivers with that kind of spread, just two weeks after losing to that jaguars team we saw last night?

The amount of injuries for SF is unbelievable really. How is this # not at the very least a pick?

Perhaps it's a head fake from the books?

The niners entire backfield is out. 5 wr's are out. Kittle is questionable. Both backup centers are out. Backup RT is out.

On defense, the entire d line it looks like? Dre Greenlaw is questionable, Sherman on IR, anyone I'm missing?

I think the summer look ahead line was 49ers -6, and that was assuming everyone was healthy.

I'm not touching this game.

kittle is out. the line is 3.5.  they really think the giants are horrible. 

Barkley means so much to the line for the Giants, but we all know an effective running game is a product of a good offensive line and the ability to use the RB as a multi purpose weapon and not a between the tackles grinder. Dion Lewis is not a kid anymore but he used to be quick with good hands when he was in New England. Obvious coaching mismatch, but I don't know how the 49ers can keep winning with a lineup of reserves on both sides of the ball. 

I’m with those guys. How can anybody look at the 49ers injuries and think, especially with no preseason games, they should be favorite over anyone. But you know that old Star Wars line...

Darnold gets hurt early and Joey Flacco and 50 year Franky Gore lead them to stunning upset.

Would eliminate prolly 50% of survivor entries.

If it wasn't for a somewhat of a decent defense, it's hard seeing the Jets as nothing less than the worst team in the nfl.

On Michael Lombardi's podcast, he said that Doug Pederson has 15 assistants on offense alone. He then said that Harry Truman didn't even use that many generals in planning the invasion of Normandy.

Patriots -6  Heard that rookie WR Henry Ruggs (who did not travel with the team) was with friends at an upscale Las Vegas restaurant on Friday and tipped $10 on a $600+ ticket. For this alone the Raiders will be punished today.

These last 3 bets are based on the theory that any team starting 0-2 ATS and playing a team 2-0 ATS in week 3 will cover at an extraordinarily high clip. 

Dallas +5, Detroit +5.5, Carolina +6.5

have to run to soccer again.  i'm going to buy out of washington. pinnacle kept it at 7.5 while it seems to be 7 everyone else. that bothers me, along with a couple of other things. the other early bet i was looking at did move the way i expected and i'm taking it at the lower number, which i don't love to do, so early bets didn't really work out for me this week.  we'll see.
