I'm sure it's not news to most people in the forums of this site, but if I can keep one person from signing up with this guy, then I feel I have done my job (I registered at Covers solely to post this).  This guy sells a system which can be found and explained (in most cases even a better version of, specifically with regards to money management) just by spending 15 minutes going through these boards -- do NOT pay for it.

Further, even if you do sign up, he continues to slam you almost daily with additional offers to pay more for premium services, the most recent of which is refusing to give out his NBA picks any earlier than 30 minutes before tip off unless you shell out another $100.  You are also constantly badgered to sign up for BetUs through his referral account.  I have read that by doing this, clients of his are getting WORSE lines on games because BetUs knows what his recommended plays will be.  I can't verify this, because I refused to sign up with them, but it's validity would surprise me exactly 0%.  I use BetJamaica and find it to be fine for my purposes.

For anyone who was unfortunate enough to sign up with him, here is an email I sent earlier today, and I implore all of you who have become equally turned off to inundate his inbox with a similar message.

****************************************
John,

Please stop asking me to sign up for BetUs, I'm happy with my current sportsbook and have no intention of joining up with another, regardless of any type of signup promotions or specials you may be able to proivde.

Also, and more importantly, you don't have to keep reminding me to send payment for your NBA Premium picks upgrade - I won't be.  Frankly, I was pretty disapointed when I received your first email asking for this additional fee and have been subjected to a half-dozen since.  Nothing in the language of your initial offer indicated that the NBA picks would be delivered any differently than the MLB picks, which is to say the morning of or night before any applicable games.  While I understand that technically nothing indicated the picks WOULDN'T be delivered this way either, frankly it's a bit hackish and in my opinion makes you come off more as an infomercial spokesman / used car salesman than it does someone who is geniunely interested in the financial success of your clients (as you have previously claimed).  The verbiage of your emails simply reeks with this tone.

Of course, since I have already paid my "No Ifs, Ands, or Buts Personal Guarantee" lifetime membership fee, I will continue to expect to receive all MLB picks in the same timely manner as this past season, as well as all NBA picks 30 minutes before game time.  However, there is no need to try and sell me any additional future services, so please (and I'm using the word please here) disclude any such offers from future emails to me and stick to providing the picks and / or any changes being made to your systems.

Sincerely,
XXXXXX
***************************************

I'm sure this won't do much to change his ways or ultimately get people to stop signing up, but if we could at least give him a sh*tty few days of emails from unsatisfied customers, I will feel I at least got something for my money, and maybe some of you will too.

good 4 you Yonk.  I earlier posted the BetUs scam in another thread and when I emailed them, they ignored my claim telling me to call them about it. At this point, if they keep it up I will simply not use them for the system plays and will just cash out my account with them.  Morrison sent out an excuse after losing the Kings series saying that his filter should have prevented him from choosing the Kings as they are the worst NBA road team.  I emailed him asking why he ignored his own filter and pointed out the BetUs scam.  Of course he ignored that email.

After doing my own research, it appears Utah falls into the system plays this Sunday.  They play the Knicks, then Sixers on Tues, then Wizards on Weds.  Good luck...

Like I said, I've never actually signed up for BetUS, so I'm not sure how dramatic the difference is, but perhaps it can be used to everyone's advantage to create a little arbitrage.  If you keep a separate "normal citizen's" BetUS account, and then also have your Morrison account, you can maybe find profitable situations in certain games playing one money line versus the other across the two accounts.

At the very least, it seems like there can be good sense in playing OPPOSITE to the Morrison chase with a better line for the opposing team.  Think about it, we chase down tyring to get just 1 win out of 3.  How often does the road team win all 3 games?  Not very often I would think.  Using that logic, you could do a 3 game chase on the home opponent, also just trying to get 1 out of 3 wins, and in each game you should have a more favorable line than the "public" BetUS would be giving.

Thoughts?

Hi I would like to add my two cents here.  I signed up for John Morrison's system near the end of the MLB season, so I had to wait until the NBA season to start using it.  In regards to the line changes, I have read other posts about that, so I decided to experiment.  What I have found in certain games the line change can be 1 point.  So if the game is Sacramento +12, and his play is on Sacramento, I have found the lines actually go down to +11 when I log in.  Not classy, John!  When I log back out, the line goes back to +12.  Didn't matter what I would buy, the Kings still lost by much more than 12 points.

I already had BetUs as a book and inquired about what I needed to do.  He promptly made a few calls and responds back in an email

=========
Man, that took a lot of effort but I've finally succeeded in getting BetUs to agree to provide you with exclusive VIP benefits!

You'll now enjoy all of the benefits that I've been receiving from them as a VIP customer. It took me many long years to achieve such an account status, and I'm just ecstatic that I've managed to get you to enjoy the same benefits as I do without having to go through the same troubles that I did!
=========

How much effort did it really take?  Of course the VIP membership was to get -170 lines for purchases of 3 points in the NBA.  It doesn't mention that the line moves in the opposite direction of your bet (which equates to you purchasing two points at 170 odds instead of three points at the regular 185 odds) . So I don't use the points.  If the play on team is good enough to cover, I figure I will take my chances without buying points.

if you purchased his system for less than 60 days, contact clickbank.com and request for a refund.  don't email him directly, he will refuse or won't reply.

Morrison sends out Utah as a system pick today with a small note that their star player Duron Williams is out for the game.  In other words, his own filter would eliminate Utah as a selection.  I guarantee you that if Utah wins this road series he will claim it as a win in his record, if they lose, he won't count it because of his filter, even though he sent it out as a selection.  Notice that he did not count the Kings as a loss for the same reason.... Two words - Scam Artist...

I concur with everybody here about this crap. I signed up just after baseball started last year and saw at least 4 losses on the system with 38 wins- which results in a negative balance. Then he comes up with his new filter and suddenly erases all the losses for the last 5 years? Then he gives a reference for a supposedly top-notch service to start football that has turned out to be absolute garbage (I wont name names, but the site has a medical moniker) that has just tanked on their "games of the year" most of the seasons.

As far as the BetUs thing goes, if what you guys are saying is true and they are changing lines on Morrison's plays, everybody who has an account with them should leave pronto, especially if "he" (I quote because its kind of ridiculous to think this scam is just one guy sitting at home doing all this) is getting a cut off of "his" clients' losses. Any book that pulls crap like that is not worth anyone's business.

I gave this "guy" the benefit of the doubt when I first signed up, but after seeing the tactics "he" uses it makes me wonder just how accurate all of "his" figures are. Part of why I signed up was because "he" said it was a ONE TIME FEE of $200, and I figured if it turned out to be bogus it was a relatively small investment. But now we're being asked for more money for "premium services", seeing his records not reflect actual performance, and already witnessing shady tactics in the first week of basketball

This is obvioulsy something we knew already, but just as clear evidence that "he" doesn't listen, or is clearly not on the other end of his email address, here is the email I received the other day, despite the scathing one I sent a few days earlier (found at the top of this chain).
***************************************
I have not received your payment for the Premium NBA Picks Service
yet. I understand that sometimes mail might take a while, so I'm
sending you this pick notification a day in advance as a courtesy.
I will send you a few more of these courtesy picks to allow you
some extra time to get your payment in. Please note however that if
you choose not to upgrade to my Premium service, you'll still
receive the NBA picks whenever they come up, but they won't be sent
until 30 minutes before the game(s) begin.
********************************
I personally think there is some merrit to the system itself, but the money management side of it is horrible.  Rather than rely on "premium" serviec for NBA, I simply took about 90 minutes of my time and went through the NBA schedule team by team and added all the potential plays of the year to a separate google calender.  Now I'm notified of any plays for the day promptly at 8am, everyday.

Basically, I feel like I paid $200 for 2 pdf files, and a barrage of annoying emails.  If not anything else, this little lapse has taught me to check these forums in the future, as I have seen the exact system laid out time and time again, often times with filters and modifiers that stand to make it more effective.

At the end of the day, I can feel better than this guy though becaues despite the big house and sports cars he has, I don't have to pay for sex.

At the end of the day, I can feel better than this guy though becaues despite the big house and sports cars he has, I don't have to pay for sex.

oh come one...what the fuck sex has to do with this?!!?! he steal from you, me , and from another thousands people and not only that, he also caused us or for some of us , a big loss from all his stupid systems.
so why you sitting like that without do anything?! lets find this son of a bitch and teach him a lesson!
people like him are not deserved to breath!

Please advise re:  clickbank.  Did you simply contact them and ask them to refund your money on the John Morrison 97% Win Rate system or is there a specific guarantee you had to mention?

THANK YOU!!!

go to clickbank.com and click on their customer service tab on the top right.  it will bring you to a purchase question link.  they will have a form for you to fill out and an option where you can request a refund.. only if it's within the guaranteed date, which is generally 60 days.  i don't think you have to go into detail with your explanation, but just mention that the product guarantees.. blah blah, but it's a fake scam.. etc etc.

clickbank will then contact the dealer, and reverse the transaction.  i was unable to get a refund because i passed the 60 day mark, but it should work if it's within that time frame.  i was stupid because i contacted morrison directly through email for the refund, he kept putting me off, putting me off.. until 60 days past.. then he stopped responding to my emails altogether.

clickbank moniters everything and is in charge of all the sites within it, and it has full authority to refund transactions if customers are not satisfied.

hope this helps..  let me know if you have any more questions.

I was a victim of the Morrison shenanigans also. The system isn't all that bad, but the money management is terrible & will cause you to lose your a$$. Also the dude is SHADY asking for more money and making excuses for losses so they won't show up on the record. Total BS.

If you're interested in checking out a proven winning NBA system, send me a msg and I will send you a link to it. Can't place any in here.

System picks went 3-0 last night in NBA action.  There appears little doubt that the system itself is solid.  I intend to continue using it but have applied PSIC's "Labourchere" money management system which will certainly minimize a series loss.  For those that did not upgrade to the premium service, it only takes a few minutes of research to determine which games will fall into the system.  So if you want the picks a day ahead of time, simply look at the NBA schedules and do a little work.

The thing I have noticed about the Morrison system this year is that I you did not buy the 3 points you would have had the same outcome for all the games. By buying the 3 points you always have a -170ML, and so far this year those points have never come into play. Just something to think about.

It was funny because he sent out a message saying Williams was out for the Jazz, but never sent anything after we all knew he was playing. If they would have lost he would have made an excuse about Williams and Okur being out.
