politicians should in the main be retired (was going to say shot but..)..they are constantlt useless...the prime mortgage scandal banks saw it coming (working with ubs at the time) and they knew it was coming  with all these alerts...i sold my bank shares for a great profit...then theres all the other economic garbage when they go on about the economy...ffs the people are the economy...in britain nhs staff who are on their knees ask for a 20pc wage rise..sounds rough but since 2010 they havent had a pay rise..they are overworked and now seiously underpaid...strikes etc etc...govts stand firm and say we cant do this would cosyt too much..but they all found trillions to bail the banks out...well mr govy how about bailing out your people who you are meant to be looking afater..not your money making rich capitalist fucking business friends..

The average military retiree of a lower rank gets a pension of approximately $900 a month roughly $11,000 a year. An illegal immigrant coming into this country cost the average taxpayer $46,000 per year. What is this saying?

This country is in bad shape some cities averaging 600 to 800 murders a year... Some countries just a few... I really believe other countries never really like us much... they like the tourist $$$...

 Kindness, respect, empathy, just not as prevalent as it once was IMO. Maybe it's social media, people can hide behind their computers and become King Jackass's, I'm not sure. It's why I pick and choose my spots carefully in social media. I just don't feel like fighting and often the words drive me to those feelings. I prefer to be happy, not mad. I agree. I am a combat veteran and feel the same way you do. 

Honestly was more worried about my bet to be truthful. That will offend many but people die every second of everyday and those far more disadvantaged than any 24yr old who has been living the high life the past couple of years.

Those who say life is precious, explain to me why it keeps repeating itself over and over? Yeh' really precious alright. The moment you close your eyes for the last time is the very second another life emerges.

I got two sick dogs I am trying my best to take care of while dealing with the fucking law and a gambling addiction. The last thing I needed was to have all my money held up by the scumbag bookies. Impacted me immensely the last 24 hours.

Hopefully the young NFL player makes a full recovery but I don't know him. Most on here don't know him so why the hell care when millions around the world his age are passing away at this very second.

look people deal with tragedies in immeasurably different ways.

Some people make fun of the situation because they are just not able to deal with such things. I have a 4yo and 6yo and so far they’ve already lost my father, at least 3 great grandparents, 3+ dogs (family pets) and a couple family friends. I struggle with how to “help” them deal with their losses while even as a 41yo myself struggle with the same losses. My best friend passed away @51yo shortly before Christmas. It hurts like hell, but I am quick with a joke or jab upon reflection of his life and our time together. Does this make me insensitive? Or complete filth? Or disgusting to you or others? To me I don’t care, being his friend and having the pleasure of knowing him and spending time with him right up until the end I like to think he would rather me crack jokes and try to get by with my day than to sit in a corner and cry all day and night about “my loss” as far as some of the people you are calling out yeah they go above and beyond for reactions and someone will give them what they seek. As for calling anyone questioning what’s going to happen to their bets that’s normal! None of us personally know this man (maybe 1-2 on this whole forum do but I doubt it) so yes our first thought is “man I hope this complete stranger is ok, and I feel for him and everyone he knows and who is struggling with this” however my bets and fantasy leagues and my bottom line is still very much in my thoughts as well. The man woke up and wrote down “did we win” for crying out loud. Does that make him insensitive for not questioning “hey everyone close to me that has been suffering and shaken up themselves from this incident are you ok? I love you all” he must be so disgusting to you as well
