Absolutely everything you have stated is right! This is a humans life have some respect for this young man. He plays the sport he loves for us to watch and enjoy. This is horrible for all and especially Hamlin the human not the football player and his family who are at the game and his side right now.

I agree! I know we all have money on this game, but the life of this player is much more important than our bets. He’s a human being, with a family, friends, life and future! We are human beings and we should be supportive and empathetic with anyone who is hurt or sick or going through difficult times. The least we can do is be kind and supportive and don’t make fun of anyone who’s facing a difficult situation. Karma is real! Prayers! God bless you all!

You've never played football I imagine. I didn't, but my brother coaches and nephews have played their whole life. We talk about injuries like this often. Every player and coach knows the risks and accepts it. So when it actually happens, if some of us ourselves don't collapse to our knees and start bawling and become emotionally uncontrollable like some of you are, well it's not being jaded or insensitive. We are just not as shocked as you. Yes it's sad. Not as sad as Henry Ruggs crashing into a car at 3 am killing a mother and daughter that burned to death while being trapped in the car, while being alive and conscious. Now that is sad. Some of us see perspective and context in things. That is all. I'm actually surprised this hasn't happened more often.
