This is not New Orleans/Washington partII !  NO/Washington the books were flooded with small bets on NO throughout the week and they never moved the line.  In G.B./Tampa Bay the books were hit early with Packer money and adjusted T.B. as  a -2.5 point favorite to a -1 favorite.  Don't know who is going to win or what the right play is.  These are two completely different situations.



Just throwing it out there but was the TB -2.5 line a mistake? Did it move quickly to -1 because of people pounding GB or was it an adjustment by the books?

There may have been some early money on GB but instead of moving the line down to 2 could they have adjusted and moved it down to 1 because of the teaser possibilities? I know at my main book they never post lines of 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 7.5, 8, 8.5 anymore to avoid having teaser go through the 3 and 7 key numbers. The numbers are still there with the correct juice in the dropdown but those above numbers are no longer posted.

It just seems like there may not have been as much money on GB as some people think when the line first opened. A move from 2.5 to 1 isn't a lot in the age of suckering people in with teasers but giving the house the edge on key numbers.

titians can you trust collins week in and out ??? i think minny might be putting it together now beat jags by 7 [ but jags arent who we thought there were ] and beat cincy [junk team ] and houston hmm...junk team they had easy schedule so far on other had here comes minny tuffer on both sides of the ball then the 3 teams titians beat i think the +3 may be the way to go

I am heading to the Met game in about an hour so won't see much football today.  Let's Go Mets!
 
I'm on the same side of a few of your plays/leans. 
 
Chiefs, my 49ers, Jets, Panthers and Rams.
 
One the other side of Tenn.  I think Viks win SU.
 
Eventually my 9ers will get some respect.... they got a good team, strong defense and a great run game.  Sully is doing just fine with Martz.
 
I cant believe I bet the Chiefs and Rams.

Why does it seem everyone is on the Rams? I am a Bills fan, so maybe I am seeing this game through homer glasses? Rams bench their starting QB for a guy who will go down if the AC is turned up too high in the dome, Jackson calling out the coach, Bulger calling out the coach, losing 38-3, 41-13, and 37-13 in the first 3 weeks. How can anyone back this shitty team? Maybe it's because of all the reasons I just stated....

banans - no roscoe means you start every drive on the 20, not at midfield. i expect a disgusting game but will gladly take a desperate home team +9 against a team who shouldnt be laying 9 on the road against anyone

i use local's lines...its 8 in most places

enjoy the game devil...i think i might have too many plays today. one of those days where you pray for a back door at 6:45p to split your action

banans-- I have no idea.... just a hunch on my part..... 8 or 9 points is a ton to lay to any NFL team at home.

I suggest to take a look at Houston. . .  historically they own the Jags, and we all know how close they were to covering last week  so that score was misleading.  Jags still have issues that a win at Indy won't fix

On it. Houston failed in the red zone a few times last week, I felt lucky to get out of that one with the cover. Jax is a very banged up team right now.

KOAJ/Devil- Thanks for the responses. I agree 9 is alot of road chalk in the NFL. By no means is Buffalo the "L" word, just really surprised at the amount of quality cappers willing to put money on St. Louis. It's a coin toss between them and KC for the worst performances so far.
 
Roscoe is an awesome returner, but he is not a big part of the offensive strategy. It will be a heavy dose of Lynch all day. 31-17 Bills is the type of score I am seeing. That will be the lowest point total the Rams have given up all year! GL guys.
