I also believe in karma and if your an ass or a thief or an all around bad person sooner or later ... you'll get yours.

It was rough going in the beginning with this hobby, but if you learn from your mistakes, over time you can survive. Having my own money got me out of that situation.

Get help stop betting if I was ur wife and i found out u were doing this shit I’d take the kids and leave ur bum ass! Also ur coming into some $ in January and it’s 10k. This story is pitiful and if u were up 30k with no job u shouldn’t of been greedy took the money and lived to bet another day

1- This will all pass I promise you. It's not the end of the world. It's just digits....bookeeping numbers... stay calm and don't overreact to make things worse.
2- To replace gambling, when it gets bad, the only solution is to replace a bad habit with a good one. When I stepped away for a couple years, I made a pledge to buy coins (gold and silver ancients mostly).....I spent like $20,000 on coins. I might have lost that money gambling. Now I have a coin collection in just 2 years. I also bought a used truck and spent about $7000 fixing it up as a hobby. So about $30,000 is what I spent on these hobbies.....now instead of draining my energy, they give back to me....and although I still play the lines, it doesn't control me as in the past. So find something to put that money into. DONT CHASE YOUR LOSSESS--they won't come back. You never had $30,000--that is the past and the past is an illusion that never happened.
The choices in gambling are too much...it is proven that there is no will power possible, and the books know how to exploit your vulnerabilities and get you to play. Again, play something else, as soon as you get into some extra money...and you will.
Good luck to you.

We talked about the gambling God's like newbies in the world of gambling usually are the lucky ones hence the term beginner's luck. If there's a gambling God then there is also a demon. Im not supposed to believe in it but I can sense it but only after I lose my azz off and leaving the casino with no money. I mean I was up with 4 jackpots and the door is right there but this demon called greed just doesn't want me to leave. If I'm up, I get overly confident and I starting to bet dumb and lose it all back and more as the ATM machine is right there. It has to be a gambling demon because it happens ways too often especially when I'm up but I'm unable to say no more and walk out that door.
I used to wk at a casino so I have seen my fair share of the usual suspects that are regular casino rats. All casinos have the same profile people there. From the pimps to the loan sharks to the drug runners and to the folks you don't know where they are getting their money to be losing on any given weekend. One guy was unemployed, got his dad's life insurance money n went gambling with it. He had $100 chips stacked in front of him like towers in rows that formed a big wall like his you see them guys with a big chip stacks in poker. By 3am he left with half about $70k worth of cash just to take it home and leave the other half there. He end up leaving at 6am with $70k more. Now $140k won in one night and as an unemployed guy is life changing money. Nope, by the following weekend, he came back but I my betting the minimum $10 a hand. He said he lost it all. This guy got a gambling problem and his wife left him n took their kids, sold their house.
Another guy owed so much money to the loan sharks that he went to a local park n lit himself with gasoline.
I saw a female gambling walking to her car n crying n heard her mumbling that she lost her rent money.
I've seen it all and have too many stories about the casino industry. It sickening me so I left that Industry behind. My win loss statement is in the 6 figures on any given year. 2025 is almost here so I'm going to limit myself to the toxicity of gambling. I bought some MLB futures to have action and as therapy for myself. $5 minimum for the bottom feeder teams to win $2 grand. My gambling problem isn't sports betting. It used to but I replaced it with slots machines pulling. I think that is worse. I can enjoy a simple $500 bet on a game n the game goes for 2 hours. With slots pulling the max bet, that $500 will last me about 15 minutes or less. At least with sports betting, I have a bigger chances of winning versus allowing a machine to tell me if I'm lucky or not.
Best thing to do is quit. Take a lost n move on with your life. Don't come back when you are out of the hole because you'll fall right back to where you first started and that Ill feeling will come back again. Take care n remember that it is only money. You will make more money so let bygones be bygones n stop dwelling on the past.

I know you've heard guys making jokes about this stuff in the past but I've known of two instances where guys were willing to offer up their wife/lady as partial payment to bookies. If I told you about my friend in Philly it would f*ck your head up.

Damn, I feel you brother. Hang in there and do what’s best for your family and you. In 2020, I received around $40k from an accident settlement. I spent around $32k of that on the prescription pills and gambling. I still gamble small amounts but I’m clean from alcohol and prescription pills for close to two years now.
meditation and mushrooms are what truly helped me with my prescription drug and alcohol issues.
good luck, brother. I hope things improve for you and your family.

During the last 10 years, my best return came from Nvidia (NVDA) but I don't think NVDA can maintain this pace anymore because it has grown too much the last 2 years.
Many are holding Palantir (PLTR) but this stock has gone up a lot in the past 6 months. Still has great potential in the long run.
I also like Tesla (TSLA) but ever since Trump's victory, it too has gone up a ton in the past month. However, Tesla is working on full self driving as well as the Optimus bot. Either of these two developments can drive the stock much higher in the future.
I recommend watching a lot of Youtube channels that focus on stocks and making sure you do your research and due diligence. Some are good and some are not so good, so don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Good luck.

Tesla train already left the station hahaha. It's to late (high) if one isn't on it already. I'll definitely keep an eye out on PLTR. Thanks

How much alcohol were you consuming? It’s not the devil, it’s your own dumbass mistakes. The reason this keeps happening to you is because you never take responsibility for your own actions. It’s always someone else’s fault. Learn to take accountability and your life will improve.

Have you ever tried Gamblers' Anonymous? Better to be around others who suffer from the same problems as you? See how others deal with it? I think it is time that you sought a permanent solution so that you can redeem your life. All the best, BB

There is this pitt boss who has an apartment across the street. The guy is crooked as hell. He is an undercover loan shark but only lend money to women. Every $1k is $75 a week of interest. Gambling women are known as sick biatches cuz when they are in the hole, they still have their bodies to sell. Us guys got nothing to offer so we are stuck. So this pitt boss has women lining up at his apartment because they couldn't come up with the weekly payment. Every Saturday he said. One morning when he was about to be done with his graveyard shift, he went to the cage n took as much cash as he could carry and a bunch of high value chips. The chips were useless but cash was still king. He left the city n went into hiding. When the money runs dry from his drug usage, he's like a ghost living among us and on the run because the feds were into him. Because of being a wanted guy, he could not get employment anywhere so he went back to his casino n turned himself into the casino owner. After apologizing and because he did worked there for 20 years, the owner let him go. He then applied to my casino n got hired as a janitor n he is often seen applying for the next opening position and trying to climb his way back up n probably will scam that casino too. He shouldn't be hired because he's a marked man but he slipped the system somehow. Maybe a new passport as a dead guy I dunno but yeah, everyone seems to have a story n profile at the casino. My GM made hot females pitt bosses overnight by sleeping with them. We found out because the IT guy went into his computer n saw them pictures. The innocent little girls are not innocents after all. Some are in big debt n will do anything to get out of it. I left the industry because I'm a straight guy n it's sickening to see n hear about these stories.

Even the security guy is crooked. He would stand in front of the door n asked every hot female gambling sick biatches if they win. Usually they loses so he say he'll give them $20 to get their money back. When you are in a desperate mode, you'll do anything for money to try to get your money back hence the term chasing your lost. Well his old minivan doesn't have back seats. On any given summer, he gets about 5 a week of clients. The cheapest he ever tried was for a few cigarettes.
Sick n sad stories im telling you.
