I just got back from Vegas today after making some coin on the Clemson v Georgia game. I left a Week 1 bet on Da Bears -3. Jay Cutler is in a contract year & will be looking to impress his new HC. Close game @ the half, Bears pull away in the 2 half. I'll cash the ticket b/4 the Mayweather fight on Sept 14. Good Luck...;)

Best bet is Indy -9.5 over Oakland!!! I am a Raiders fan and even I know that my team is s****y!  No defense, no offensive line, no proven qb and we are on the road......Recipes for disaster if you ask me.  I will be placing a fairly large wager on the Colts.  No doubt in my mind they cover easily!  I will be fading them all year! I would have to agree that this game looks very yummy, the J.e.t.s. jets jets jets are an awful team, and throw a rookie in that mix, well he is no Russell Wilson, aand they are no Seatlle Seahawks, so id say let it ride.

He couldn't be any worse than Sanchez. 
 Sanchez 2009 rookie still went to the playoffs relying on the defense and run game.

Big jet fan here but here is why u stay away from Tampa. Jets will be an awful offensive team but I think they will have a strong defensive unit and who is josh freeman to be laying points on the road? I'm not saying Tampa doesn't cover but I wouldn't risk my whole bankroll on it. Jets d-line should step up and play well against the rush and Tampa doesn't have any guys on the receiving end that scare me. Think this is a very low scoring game. I think the best play on the board is the colts. Raiders on the road should get rolled here.

I would take a 50/50 shot at the bears at home -3 before I laid a point with a horribly average team on the road.

6 games last year josh didn't sniff 80 QB rating and his team won by 7 or less 7 times.

no lock here.

Just dont get why ur acting like tampa is this great team with a good coach. Two bad teams playing anything can happen but in these situations gimme the home team catching points.

I Agree, Tampa had a really good run defense last year and beefed up their pass defense. Jets have ZERO offense at all

a mediocre offense vs a better than average defense....sounds like a recipe for FG's. 

its possible that tampa can move the ball but not be able to punch it in the end zone. 

its also possible that the jets might not have a qb to get them down field but they do still have to return kicks/punts. maybe special teams is the x-factor in capping this game.

this is more of betting against the jets than betting with the bucs.

Too obvious a pick Jets are gonna feel real disrespected and play hard Tampa knows they should win poorly coached team could be looking ahead on the schedule I would not touch this game and if I did I would be on the Jets side....I would guess that TB wins this by 3 so if your giving 3.5 ehhh, if you can get TB 2.5 yeah maybe then don't think you will see that though

The Bucs are only favor by 2.5, Just the line should tell you something. "Any given Sunday, anyone can win". Personally, I like the over in the Saints game or The Pats to roll in Buffalo.
