the problem is that you are looking at 2 bad teams & thinking you see value in 1. but the reality is that both are bad teams. so you have a selection bias that will eventually cost you whether tampa wins or not.

i suggest buying something useful with 3 dimes like a nice drug & hookr binge.

p.s tampa is not as bad as you think they picked up Revis which is huge for ther pass game shucks some people got them hitting a playoff birth.... jets on the other hand????....... some people habe them joing the CFL

never said that eagles -8 was my GOY numbnuts i said it was my play of week 1.... never the less i get your point and to answer your question no i have not learned my lesson... any reasons why you would not bet the house and little tommy's college  fund on Tampa?????

Don't make your picks on how a team looked the week before or in the preseason.

i don't really care about this game either way man. tampa can cover. but i just want to warn you that even if you win this bet, you need to change the way you gamble. your bankroll is not gonna last long if you continue with this type of strategy.

Dubfire apreash bro, good lookin out.. Like i said before tho these are not my regular gambling habits i just always do this when i go to Vegas for week 1... in general I usually play much more conservative.. The advise I was more looking into this forum was more on how my selection was and if other agree if its a solid pick..

I believe Geno is starting because Sanchez's injury is worse than they thought. He still hasn't been able to throw in practice.

If looking for a team to unload on and bet the house....I dont think the bucs are the best option to get u that $$$ Week 1. u are banking on a so-so team to go on the road as a fg fave -3. Jets arent much themselves but Rex will have his boys ready on D. I initially liked the bucs myself until i looked at this game from a broader perspective. My Big pick for the week is Texans -3. If u want a sunday game i like Sea -3. If going to pick a road team as fave  make sure that team is worth it and Sea/Hou are IMO. Another option would be Colts 1H. The raiders are TERRIBLE

If you are placing such a huge bet on a road favorite in week 1, I think you're better off taking a stronger team  like Houston -3 or -3.5.
I like Pittsburgh -7 at home as well as a favorite. I just think that tampa isn't as strong a pick as HOU. I also think that you dont know what you are going to get with the jets and I could see them possibly even winning by 3 or 4 pts

I hear you on the Texans pick...and i do somewhat agree with you on pitt... but the way pitt is going  to struggle this year I just dont feel confident laying that much chalk with the amount of money im betting it will remind me of what I did with the eagles last year week 1... just to much points...man still love tampa here and now with Geno starting its a wrap Rex might have his boys coming out to play hard for that opene but Greg Schiano WONT????  Bro this coach is a crazy man he will have tampa ready for war.. PLUS REVIS coming back!!?? HELLLO!!!! I feel good with Tampa

I made this play about a month ago and locked it in at -2.5.  Freeman has been a little inconsistent in the preseason and Martin took a pretty bad blow to his head so the Bucs haven't really done anything to make me feel better about it.  Luckily the Jets organization is still a complete circus.

Love the play at -2.5 but this will be at -3.5 or worse by kickoff so I would place the bet sooner than later if you're going to.

My thoughts.. Not saying Houston won't cover but San Diego with Rivers in a threat. And Pittsburgh may cover too, but they just don't look like to old Steelers to me. This could be a closer game.

The Jets are having trouble everywhere, and Sanchez is not healthy and Geno is a rookie ego maniac.

I think Tampa will pound the ball all day long.

Don't waste ur mney on the Jets or Tampa Bay. You want the most sure fire play of week one it's the Saints MONEY LINE. I have some inside info about this game and the saints will win. Im not a tout nor am I looking for your money or anyone on here for that matter. Like I said I have an inside track on this game so you can run with it or take a chance on a different game. I will not reveal my source or why they said the saints will win. I will however save this page so i can return to it after the Saints beat the falcons and see who wisely took this advice
