Age-old political question:&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Are we better off today than we were 4 yrs ago?&#xD;&#xA;          - This day/month in history...&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Lots and LOTS of stuff to cover, but I&#x27;ll begin with this:&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Italy announces it is locking down the whole country due to a spike in COVID-19 cases with 10,040 cases and 630 deaths&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Apr 6 Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announces state of emergency in seven prefectures and a nearly $1 trillion stimulus package as COVID-19 cases climb&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;USA, April 09, 2020 - Trump/republicans hold the White House...&#xD;&#xA;America is in the deadly grips of a highly infectious new virus which unfortunately had been "downplayed" by Trump and his accomplices through February and early March 2020...&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;**This thread is only the 5th new thread I have created on the Politics forum since December 2021

&#xA;Typical MAGA talk....&#xA;In the manly sport of football we play  FOUR FULL QUARTERS to assess the outcome, much like a US presidency has FOUR FULL YEARS under his command and control for historians to assess that outcome.&#xA;In both cases we wait to see the result after  ALL FOUR are complete.&#xA;We do not ignore the 4th quarter results and point to the score at the end of the THIRD quarter because we like those better.

Every intelligent person knows this. &#xA;Biden hasn&#x27;t *STARTED* any....much less with actual combat troops on the ground in daily combat, like the republicans did 20 years ago....&#xA;At the moment he is participating by proxy only in a war against international terrorism *STARTED* by Putin....and I applaud the effort as do MOST Americans!....but STARTED no boots-on-the-ground active combat wars.
