a great deal of that preventable with good leadership in the white house when our nation was under attack from a killer virus

so to the point of the thread :: ya we r way better off today than this date 4 yrs ago !!

Thankfully our current 2024 President was the one who got the covid recovery in full gear to save American lives and businesses.....and so yes, we are definitely better off 4 yrs later!

Commonwealth fund study estimates US covid vaccination during 2021-22 prevented over 18 million hospitalizations and 3 million deaths.  Without vaccination, US would have experienced 4 times more covid deaths and hospitalizations.

Where do you come up with these lies and disinformation regarding covid? The heroes we don't hear about are the doctors who replaced the ingredients of the 'kill' shot with NaCl or sterile water! Those are the people who prevented death and serious injury.

Myth is that anti-vaxxers are heroes.  Actually, they are a threat to public health.  Fact is almost all healthcare providers are vaccinated.  The Mirror reports on rare story of a German nurse given 6 months probation and suspension of license after being found guilty of assault. In court, she apologized for substituting saline solution after accidentally breaking vial of covid vaccine.

Covid facts are like asking how the world was created

Cant believe most of it...it was sided one way for a reason...we"re supposed to believe that it died down because of a vaccine...yea ok...the pandemic from a 100 years ago with less people and less means of travelling the glpbe took just as long to recover...I highly doubt that...if anything this time may have been a trial run...a lab rat experiment if you will...

Comparing measles to covid is a bit of a stretch...how long was measles vaccination in testing before it was released to the public versus covid...

It's not that people are anti vax it's the fact that they pushed and rushed out a vaccine that was not fully tested and determined if safe to the puic...

I'll wait while you do the math and then realize the vast difference is that one took years to perfect while the other was rushed and hardly tested with the public...the public world was the testing group for covid

When even CNN polls show 61% of Americans consider Biden a failure then I guess you need silly threads like this.

From July 1st, 2021 to Dec 31, 2021 more people died in the US from COVID under Biden with the vaccine than with Trump from July 1st, 2020 to Dec 31, 2020 without the vaccine. And the next 6 months, Jan 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 the same thing, more deaths than Trump's 6 months. And he had no vaccine. 

Countries like France and Germany lowered their death rate July 2021 to Dec 31, 2021 compared to July 2020 to Dec 31, 2020.

Pandemics usually last several years.  Starting slowly in 2020 before peaking later.  When Biden took office in 2021, the worst covid wave devastated US.  According to Center for disease control, 353,000 deaths in Biden's first 10 months.  Compared to 425,000 deaths during Trump's last 10 months.  So there have been fewer deaths under Biden for similar time periods.  But best comparison is how US compare to the rest of the world.  Under Biden, US has accounted for a smaller share (16%) of world deaths than under Trump (20%).  Under Biden, death rate has dropped over 90%.

As far as being better off now verses prior, not even close. Rates are crazy, energy headed way up again, food costs up 20-35% and every where I look the World is coming unraveled with wars, division and we have open borders that will haunt the Nation for decades. Nope things were so much better with the prior administration.

So glad Joe told me I could not get Covid with that first shot. Had it a few times after and not sure he was telling the truth.

Data is clear.  US economic recovery is stronger than those of other nations because Biden administration learned how to improve on Obama administration.  Choosing to boost spending for faster recovery instead of spending cuts, higher unemployment and risk of recession.
