 I have a very distinct recollection of that time in our history when Nero was fiddling while Rome burned.

Many other countries reacted with very serious conviction and did so IMMEDIATELY.  No playing with "pud" watching their citizens die.  But under the arrogant and incompetent Trump regime the US ranked among the top seven worst nations for hospitalizations and death rates.  Undeniable mismanagement that devastated our nation, and serious lingering effects still being felt to this day!

How about: Are we better off now almost going to another proxy war in the middle east than we were 4 years ago?  That is reality right now, this can not be blamed on DJT but somehow the mob/media will spin it. 

Ask yourself this:  In 6 months will we have an election with a war on our hands?  % favors yes unless you live under a rock.... an Arab Michigan rally chants go viral of Death to America.  Dearborn, MI.  The governor and the town's mayor won't even publicly tone down the hatred chants.

Big difference between directly fighting a war and indirectly supplying aid.  US is just one of many countries supplying Ukraine.  Ditto for the middle east.  Russia and Hamas started the wars while US is trying to prevent world war III.  House intelligence committee reveals that republican lawmakers have been infected by pro Russian and anti Ukraine propaganda from Putin.  Myth is that Trump has no wars during his term as president.

The town's mayor and many leading Arab-American leaders condemned the death chants. Our governor, last I heard, remained silent as did most Michigan dems in govt.

For the most part I have respect for our Arab-Americans in Michigan, most appear to be good people.

It's not a myth that no major wars were started during Trump admin.

And no myth Trump refused to aid UNRWA and Biden did even though it was reported UNRWA was aiding Hamas.

No myth Trump labeled Houthis a terrorist org and denied aid and Biden reversed it. 

No myth Biden reversed Trump decision to halt Nordstream II that benefited Russia. 

Oh look, Russia, Houthis, and Hamas got aggressive.

NYS was pretty much locked down at that point.  Around 75,000 confirmed cases.  Cuomo in his heyday

I only responded here on the DOW because it dropped 3,000 in one day in mid march, I remember there were trading halts from everyone panicking. 

Thats a bad time to compare the market, it was the start of every business shutdown unless it was "Essential"

Most recent stats say we are 3.8% unemployment today, which continues a record of 26 consecutive months below 4%

update on meshitagain, it took a week for Gov. Whitmer to condemn the rhetoric.  It is the same playbook as my state Gov. who took a week to respond to the national guard deployed in NYC subways.

This took 7+ days for a response so to not upset her voting base.  Absolutely disgusting for death to any country to play politics at any level. 

So, is Michigan any better now than 4 years ago?  GM is moving out too.... Can anyone actually post anything good about what Tlaib has brought to congress?  I would like an opinion or two from the other side of common sense.
