Did trump completely bungle the pandemic response?
Or, has he done a "Fantastic job" as he claims?

    UPDATE Oct 20:

South Korea -- which is right next door to CHINA ! --
got its first case of covid-19 on the very same day as the US.

Here's how effectively each government responded:

South Korean death toll from covid =             450        ( 9 deaths per million pop)
trump-regime deaths from covid = 220,955    (682 deaths per million pop)

So what part of the facts that those sources post on their website is wrong and what proof do you have to show THEIR listed numbers are "distorted" ....please advise....I am being serious.... but I do need proof those numbers are wrong at the time of the post....Thanks in advance for your help!  peace_5

Why would you think that? confused  I never stated that.  I never even intimated that!

And near as I can tell nobody here every stated that either!

We stand as 8th WORST in the world, and trump is our President.

He is not responsible for the 7 bad scenarios worse than us, nor

the 121 countries that are doing waaaaaaaaayyyyy better than us.

The US has tested 380,000 per 1,000,000

Only 31 countries have tested over 13,000 per 1,000,000

Why are you talking about 121 countries? Are you that uneducated on the topic? Really bad with numbers? Or both?

Why are you talking about testing??

    Death rate is what matters.

You appear to be "uneducated on the topic"

2/3 of the global deaths every year aren’t registered with local authorities.

In countries like India most deaths occur outside of the medical system. In some countries, there is no “medical system”.

No offense but comparing the US to 130 countries illustrates that you probably have an iq below room temperature and a very low understanding of the world around you.

You could possibly compare the US to countries in Europe. But even then you would have to look at how each country is counting COVID deaths because they’re all counting them differently. And the number of per capita testing each country is doing.

Well first off, I see you making statements insinuating FACTS but as always without providing supportive links to valid/credible sources........which is typical of those who make up stuff and DON'T do their homework....uhh, no offense

We can start here if you’d like.

“Globally, an estimated two-thirds of all deaths occur in the community, the majority of which are not attended by a physician and remain unregistered.”

Ok.  Good start.....belatedly, as usual....but even there you stated a falsehood when you stated

and I quote:  "2/3 of the global deaths every year aren’t registered with local authorities."

Your own source doesn't confirm that.

It states an estimate.  YOU did not state an "esitmate" ....

Second it states "the majority of which".

Those of us with post secondary degrees understand that a "Majority of which" could mean

anywhere between 51% and 99%.....There's a world of difference in those numbers.....and they are only "estimates" at that.

    Failure.   Try again....

They are talking about how hard it is to make comparisons between European countries.

“A further complication is that there is no accepted international standard for how you measure deaths, or their causes.

Does somebody need to have been tested for coronavirus to count towards the statistics, or are the suspicions of a doctor enough?”

You’re trying to compare the US to Sierra Leone. And you’re coming to the conclusion that Sierra Leone is doing much better than the US.

Secondly, the source I list in all such charted numbers on various posts is valid and credible, but if   *YOU*  have a credible source   WITH VALID NUMBERS for countries around the world which refute those specific numbers listed by Worldometers,  then by all means post it!

    That's *IF* you have it...
