200,000 people have died from Covid-19 in the US.
That's more than the US battle deaths from 5 wars combined

What happened today seemed impossible to many Americans six months ago.
When Dr. Anthony Fauci predicted in March that Covid-19 could kill 200,000
people in the US, skeptics lambasted him and accused him of fearmongering.

And the US reached that bleak milestone much earlier than some experts predicted.

Since the first known US Covid-19 death on February 6, an average of
more than 858 people have died from the disease EVERY DAY.
By contrast - South Korea a mask wearing country of 51 million -
has a year-to-date TOTAL of just 388 covid deaths (as of Sep 21)

Covid-19 is now the second-leading cause of death in the US,
just after heart disease, according to the University of Washington's
Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.

Already, Covid-19 has killed more people in the US than Americans killed in battle
during the five most recent wars combined: the Korean War, the Vietnam War,
the Iraq War, the War in Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf War.

Congress was briefed on the virus by Fauci and Redfield in January and Pelosi was telling people to get out and mingle Feb 24th. 

And researchers project almost 180,000 additional Covid-19 deaths by January 1.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

"Increasing mask use to 95% can save nearly 115,000 lives,
reducing that expected number of deaths by 62.7%," the IHME said.

And the same mask wearing, physical distancing and hand washing that protect
against Covid-19 can also help avert a flu-and-coronavirus "twin-demic" that
could overwhelm the health care system.

"We have to stay strong and do the things that could decrease the spread,"
said Dr. Brett Giroir, the White House coronavirus task force's testing czar.
"Number 1: Wearing a mask when we can't physically distance.
Number 2: Avoiding crowds.
Number 3: Hygiene.
And with smart testing, we can flatten the curve and slow the spread," Giroir said.

"We do have a formula to reduce the deaths, reduce the cases. But we all have
to be disciplined and diligent to make sure we obey that every single day."

Remember back in March when Dr Deborah Birx, coordinator of the White House coronavirus task force, revealed models projecting the deaths of 1,00,000 to 2,40,000 Americans, assuming social distancing efforts were ongoing.

At the same time, she said epidemiology models initially had predicted a worst-case scenario of 1.5 million to 2.2 million US deaths without mitigation efforts such as social distancing, hand washing and staying home as much as possible.

Going by those numbers Americans have done outstanding job of reducing the possible deaths that this China-virus could have caused..

Of course that doesn't count the effects of a Tridemic..

The United States reached yet another dark milestone Tuesday:
200,000 coronavirus deaths. (thanks to "adolf")

In March, President Donald Trump said keeping the death toll between
100,000 to 200,000 people would have indicated that his administration
had “done a very good job.” But as the number has continued to climb,
Trump has sought to reshape the significance of the death tally:

“If we didn’t do our job, it would be three and half, two and half,
maybe three million people,” Trump said Friday,
leaning on extreme projections of what could have happened
if NOTHING AT ALL were done by states to fight the pandemic.

“We have done a phenomenal job with respect to COVID-19.”

Blue states NJ, NY, MA, and Connecticut are by far the worst performing states in the country.

South Korea -- right next door to CHINA! - has 388 dead from covid and they didn't lock down!

COVID-19 deaths have outpaced projections made as recently as May, when experts
at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at University of Washington
predicted around 180,000 deaths by October.

That same model now predicts 378,000 deaths by January,
unless the US adopts mask-wearing to near 95% compliance.

The U.S. reached 100,000 cases in May.

South Korean politicians didn’t urge people to gather in groups of 100,000 to protest. 

Democrats should be ashamed of themselves for leading black Americans into harms way like that. 

NYC death rates by race: 

Black - 92 per 100,000 

Hispanic - 74 per 100,000 

White - 35 per 100,000 

Asian - 25 per 100,000 

There should be an investigation to see if Democrats encouraged the large gatherings in an attempt to kill minorities. Democrats are truly disgusting people and they should be ashamed of themselves. I might burn down a Wendy’s on my way home from work in protest.

“It’s hard for me to think of a positive scenario where things are going to get better

“I don’t see behavior changing adequately. I don’t see testing ramping up.
