The fact is the wage gap was DECLINING under Trump, and blue collar pay was actually increasing more than white collar pay. That sucks your argument has fallen on its face !

His tax cuts, which mostly benefit the upper-middle, and wealthy also contribute to growing levels of wealth and income inequality. Yes, the U.S. was in such a great place before COVID-19

I'm not choosing sides here but that article isn't exactly glowing. It says gains are "modest" and points to the fact that many of the trends that have led to wage inequality have not changed, nor to they show signs of changing. Also, this is an article about "wage inequality". It is basically about the difference in wage growth between blue collar and white collar workers. What we must realize is that both groups are "workers". And what's good for the goose is good for gander. The real issue, and the issue that Trump's tax plan only exacerbated, is "wealth inequality". It doesn't matter whether blue collar or white collar, it's the ratio of the worker bees take home as it compares to that of wealthy CEOs, stock holders, ect.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

Republicans held ALL the power in 2017 & 2018 and accomplished diddly squat. Now you are trying to blame Democrats for the continued failure of this administration. So quit whining for cripes sake. Homey Don't Play That
The beauty of the forum is that one can express themselves in an honest and decent environment. You are 100% correct in your assessment. The adolf-trump supporters prefer to destroy American lives by refusing to adhere to common-sense health measures to protect Americans, simply to regain power over the people. No President has faced this type of adversity and handled it so badly - just to further his own ego and political gain. And he's managed to allow the the vast majority of 133,000 American lives lost to covid-19. Truth denial is as real as Covid. There is hatred in politics like never before, which sharply increased since 2017 and has been cultivated and stoked by trump and his accomplices.
Had the adolf-supporters accepted our constitution and truth over lies, it would be much better than the chaos created by the self-proclaimed "Grim Reaper" Mitch McConnell and his fascism-loving exalted leader, adolf trump.

STU, seriously, what "assets" do blue collar workers typically have that could contribute to their "wealth"... A house ? What else ? Maybe a small 401k, if any at all....
People that are more affluent typically have a House AND STOCKS. So, whose fault is that ?? So, are you of the mindset that we should penalize affluent people to "decrease" the wealth gap... Because this is what it sounds like you are advocating for.... A slippery slope to the socialist mindset...

I'm directing my comments to all of the Trump enablers who continue to support him while looking to blame others for his failures. He already told the country he doesn't take responsibility for anything. How can anyone support a liar & thief who stole from a child's cancer charity? The Democrats! The Media! China! The Supreme Court! Blaming everyone else except Trump doesn't cut the mustard with Americans who are fed up with this POS.
Echo that

Senator Mitt Romney Calls Trump's Decision to Commute Roger Stone's Sentence 'Historic Corruption'
Madeleine Carlisle, Time•July 11, 2020
On Saturday morning, Utah Sen. Mitt Romney became the first Congressional Republican so far to speak out against President Donald Trump’s Friday night decision to commute the sentence of his longtime associate Roger Stone. Stone had been sentenced to 40 months in prison for multiple felonies including lying to Congress and attempting to obstruct the Congressional investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
“Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president,” Romney tweeted Saturday.
Last November, a jury found Stone guilty of all seven counts brought against him, including lying to Congress about his attempts to contact WikiLeaks during the 2016 presidential election. He was also found guilty of witness tampering and obstructing a Congressional investigation.

That's absolutely shocking that Romney would badmouth Trump !
Seems he'll never get over himself losing the position of Secretary of State to Rex Tillerson. Romney couldn't even beat incompetent O'bama after all. Hope UTAH does the right thing and can his ass$.

That's absolutely shocking that Romney would badmouth Trump !
Seems he'll never get over himself losing the position of Secretary of State to Rex Tillerson. Romney couldn't even beat incompetent O'bama after all. Hope UTAH does the right thing and can his ass$.

A.) The article is from 2 years ago (ha)
B.) Just because blue collar wages "were" rising at one point during this clown's administration does not mean the wage gap was closing because the highest earner's and rich' wealth was also growing because of tax cuts, and breaks Trump is giving them. So the wage gap was never closing. Now in 2020, wage and wealth inequality continues to rise to it's highest levels ever.

ok most of the party had some reassurance with the team Trump first put together. Most Republicans agreed he was the best man for the job. And the American public voted Trump to become president. 4 years later Republicans are apologizing for this descision and decided Biden should be President. The executive branch must be brought into the law and actions have consequences...
So.

And here again are the REPUBLICAN groups that are pledged now to oppose adolf for re-election:
** The Lincoln Project ** 43 Alumni for Biden (superpac) ** Republican Voters Against Trump ** Right Side PAC (superpac) ** A new set of Republican national security officials has also emerged in opposition to Trump. This last group hasn’t given itself a name yet, and includes the former Bush homeland security adviser Ken Wainstein, and John Bellinger III, who served in the state department. The group is looking to rally national security officials away from Trump – either by supporting Biden or writing in someone else.

if we remember there was a line up of electoral college votes that defyed their party to support Gary Anderson. No they will never be allowed to hold their parties vote again. But America wants some else here and is tired of supporting senile old white people. For president.

These are noted deep state republicans who will come out against Trump. Of course they hate him. Trump is not one of them, and considered an outsider. Trump is his own man trying to fix the past 24 years of foolishness and deep state movement towards socialism. Trump will win again and the democrats will suffer the consequences.

Not true... pre-Chinese virus, the gap WAS CLOSING, despite what you and your lib friends would like to believe. Will you give Trump credit for anything, or just continue w your losing ways that he can do no right. I have no problem criticizing Trump for things, but when you libtards discredit him for EVERYTHING, it kinda makes you guys look like fools that can't think for yourself.
Don't forget to turn on the Don Lemon show to get your daily programming. Remember, do as he says.
