Another Mass Shooting

I am not going racial here, merely pointing out the obvious. There has been extreme gun violence for years. Summer of 2020 was really bad. Now we have "stop the gun violence" protests popping up all over. Where the hell were you back in 2020??? Rooting for the violence I believe. You cannot turn it on/off like a faucet to fit your needs.

After several complaints, a NC high school wrestling coach has decided not to go forward with an AR-15 raffle as a fundraiser.

I'm all for fundraising used to help high school sports teams but couldn't you have thought of something other than an AR, Bubba? How about a steak dinner for 10 at a local steakhouse? Super bowl tickets? Season tickets to a local sports team or travel/tickets to a WWE event?

Anything but a fucking rifle!

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) announced he signed a bill allowing teachers to carry guns in schools.

Countdown to when a teacher loses their shit with a challenging student (or just loses their shit) and kills a kid or kids right there in the classroom. Or an angry kids takes the teacher's gun away. So this idiot wants to introduce MORE GUNS into the equation.

This is fucking insane.

Police and teachers oppose arming amateurs with inadequate training.  Normal 700 hours reduced to 24 hours.  Risk of gun accidents such as teacher being mistaken for the active shooter by police.  Lack of evidence shows toughening targets work.  FBI say under 1% of mass shootings have been stopped by non-police citizen with a gun but none in schools.  Over 90% of the time, mass shooters are insiders targeting their own school.   So they always have the advantage.  Even with a SWAT team in every school 24/7, they could be outgunned by a kid wearing body armor and assault weapons.

The way that many Republicans' talking point is armed school teachers with small firearms, and since the Tulsa mass shooting occurred at a hospital with 2 doctors and one medical assistance killed by an assault rifle. To the same Republican's talking point, armed every doctors, nurses and medical staffs with small firearms, such as AR-15 will get the job done.  

At the end of the day, NRA and GOP will love to see every American owns at least one assault rifle to protect ourselves. Good guys with the guns, preferably an assault weapon, will save us the day.  

Starting July 1, the sale of ammunition magazines with more than 10 rounds will be banned in Washington state. Importing, manufacturing and distributing them will be outlawed, too.

The only magazines allowed for sale and importing will be those with a maximum capacity of 10 cartridges under a measure pushed through by Democrats and signed by Gov. Jay Inslee earlier this year, the Everett Herald reported.

We have to get control of the situation little by little.

What about stricter punishment for illegal gun possessions? Any updates on that getting passed? Might also help, right?.

 I don't really know enough about "ghost guns" but the simple fact you are not purchasing one legally tells me you want to hide something. 

I just read about the 15 year old kid that was killed in DC last night. Police say the kid had been shot twice previously.

And police found a weapon on him.

Where do you even begin to prevent a reoccurrence of something like this?

I think there's another story about a college basketball player in NY that got shot at a cook out. 

I don't own a gun, have never shot a gun so I'm not the one looking for them. "ghost gun" referring to an untraceable gun. 

Maybe tougher requirements to purchase and stricter punishments for those in possession of an illegal weapon might help. Maybe not releasing violent criminals on no cash bail might help crime as it seems there's quite a bit of re-occurrence of violent crimes from criminals released on no cash bail or released early.

U.S. Constitution and Electoral College has set in the favor of GOP and conservatives over Dems and liberals. U.S. population does not constitute with 6-3 in favor of conservatives. To the opposite since Pres. Bush's 2nd term, Democratic presidential candidates have won every popular votes over Republican counterparts. In his 1st POTUS term, Bush also lost popular votes to Al Gore, by 543,895 votes. 

Under the current U.S. Constitution, not by the majority populace but instead this country will be largely ruled by the Republicans.

Another 6-3 disproportionately conservative dominance of SCOTUS at work this morning, it just turns down Roe v. Wade woman abortion right. 61% of adult Americans say abortion should be legal in all or most cases*. America is facing minority rule, will this last forever? I don't know.

Today in Pensacola, FL a 8 year old boy found his felon Father’s gun & shot his 2 year old sister while killing his 1 year old sister. 

The father has a 129 page rap sheet including 14 felonies. This fucker probably won’t tell police where he got the gun.
