Club and I have been very consistent in the past about prosecutors commenting on a case before it reaches the fact finder. Nothing that happened here is any different than what goes on daily, it is simply higher profile. I disagree when prosecutors make such statements but it happens in white on white, black on black, black on white, white on black, police on citizen, and citizen on police.
The right wing just cares more about it here.

2. The police do their jobs and arrest a convicted heroin dealer after he flees from them. He has a knife (illegal or not, that's what courts are for to decide). He dies in custody, possibly at his own hands. He's damaged goods, on drugs, in-between lawsuits and may have been too effective in injuring himself.
3. Riots ensue, Mayor directs police to take it like a bunch of battered wifes. Allow them to riot and damage community. They do it well and damage 300+ businesses, steal enough drugs to keep the entire city high for 6 months as well as kill each over to get them.
4. Prosecutor then promises justice to the heroin dealers family instead of everyone and indicts 6 police officers. Prosecutors take an oath to follow the law without passion or prejudice. Mosby is obviously unaware of this job requirement.
5. Mayor fires police chief because police have been reluctant to be police and keep the community safe because no one has their backs fighting the savages. 155 murders in Baltimore this year vs. 105 last year at this time.
Eventually, someone is going to get removed from office that's responsible for all of this. I don't think the Police Commissioner is the right person, but we now have a white commissioner that certainly can become the next punching bag because he'll be a racist.
The total here is that the Mayor & Prosecutor should've been forced to resign and in a sane city, they would've. Prediction: A new police commissioner will have no affect on what's going on there. They've created an impossible situation by stabbing the police department in the back.

i'm still not sure what she did that was all that bad. look, when there is evidence that you kill an unarmed person, you might have to answer for that in court. this even applies to the government. from here, you just have to let the criminal justice system play out.

Murders up 48% in 2015, 74 after the Freddie Gray "incident" where old Freddie may have caused himself fatal injuries because he was an unstable drug dealer/user looking for a lawsuit.
Instead of calling for calm and letting the police fight the rioters the thugs of Baltimore City were given "room to destroy" by the Mayor. And destroy they did, while also marginalizing the police department and empowering murders and other criminals to "have at it".
People are dead because of this but when liberals obviously screw-up no ones accountable. Two current examples are this and Hillary's/Obama's Benghazi lies/fraud about the spontaneous demonstration claim to the "Where's The Fkn' Emails" scandal. Nothing ever happens to this protected class.

Isn't it amazing that a handful of police officers accused and usually falsely accused can mass such a public outcry but these record killings in several major cities remains neglected. I believe the only way this will stop is if a campaign to turn in gang members & drug dealers is imposed. Of course that'll never happen with the "Don't be a Snitch" crowd. They'd rather have the chalk lines in the streets and the cops stay away and let them conduct "business".

The city has recorded 196 murders thus far this year. 2014 had 211 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. Great leadership, every major city could learn from this crew.
