What ever happens someone is going to say it wasn't fair.

So at this point it's just petty mud slinging and accusation trying to discredit the other side.

I mean DL and Club pretty much sum it up nicely.  

Club and I have been very consistent in the past about prosecutors commenting on a case before it reaches the fact finder. Nothing that happened here is any different than what goes on daily, it is simply higher profile. I disagree when prosecutors make such statements but it happens in white on white, black on black, black on white, white on black, police on citizen, and citizen on police. 

The right wing just cares more about it here.

 Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake who wanted to give the Freddie Grey rioters “space to destroy.”said Wednesday that she has fired Police Commissioner Anthony Batts.. Rawlings did not give a reason..........

Deputy Police Commissioner Kevin Davis (white) becomes interim commissioner..now they are catching on..

The riots were preventable..the fault lies with the Mayor..

Let's try to do the math on this....

1. Police follow "Prosecutor" Mosby's directive regarding that exact place in Baltimore to make your presence known and target drug activity in her city councilman husbands jurisdiction.

2. The police do their jobs and arrest a convicted heroin dealer after he flees from them. He has a knife (illegal or not, that's what courts are for to decide). He dies in custody, possibly at his own hands. He's damaged goods, on drugs, in-between lawsuits and may have been too effective in injuring himself.

3. Riots ensue, Mayor directs police to take it like a bunch of battered wifes. Allow them to riot and damage community. They do it well and damage 300+ businesses, steal enough drugs to keep the entire city high for 6 months as well as kill each over to get them.

4. Prosecutor then promises justice to the heroin dealers family instead of everyone and indicts 6 police officers. Prosecutors take an oath to follow the law without passion or prejudice. Mosby is obviously unaware of this job requirement.

5. Mayor fires police chief because police have been reluctant to be police and keep the community safe because no one has their backs fighting the savages. 155 murders in Baltimore this year vs. 105 last year at this time. 

Eventually, someone is going to get removed from office that's responsible for all of this. I don't think the Police Commissioner is the right person, but we now have a white commissioner that certainly can become the next punching bag because he'll be a racist.

The total here is that the Mayor & Prosecutor should've been forced to resign and in a sane city, they would've. Prediction: A new police commissioner will have no affect on what's going on there. They've created an impossible situation by stabbing the police department in the back.

i'm still not sure what she did that was all that bad.  look, when there is evidence that you kill an unarmed person, you might have to answer for that in court.  this even applies to the government.  from here, you just have to let the criminal justice system play out.

Come on DL - passion was from the prosecutor in her first statement to the public. FOUL BALL. Her statement should've been that we will run a thorough investigation, if charges are warranted they will be filed and the accused will have their day in court. That's what a pro does, if you want to see an amateur watch Marilyn Mosby.

Do you know anything about the LAW or the judicial system? Certain lines exist that the prosecutor just can't cross, they're held to a higher standard. She turned into a political activist before our eyes, completely inappropriate. If those cops are proven to be guilty, I won't riot over it. If their innocent, what do you think will happen?

Dirt - The evidence is to come out in court. All she did was satisfy a mob. BTW - where's the evidence that they "killed" an unarmed heroin dealer? The other guy in the paddy wagon is on tape saying he was thrashing around trying to injure himself, of course he recanted that, but he's on video. You're correct that this is for the court to decide after all the evidence is presented. 

And DL you would've been really entertained tonight when Hannity had 3 parents of children killed by illegals that had long rap sheets and were released or deported and came back over and over again and eventually killed their children. Don't worry you won't find that on any other network. I'm sure it was all fake, they were probably just actors with well written stories...

i don't know.  maybe they killed him.  maybe he did it to himself somehow.  that's what trials are for. even our beloved government has to be subjected to the same laws and rules all of us little people are sometimes.

I looked up his credentials.

Someone gained access to a street closure sign in Baltimore, reprogrammed it to say "F**k the police"... The upside is it takes some technical expertise to change the sign...

In unrelated news, Charm City did it again in July - 42 murders with 2 days remaining in the month to take it to the same threshold it reached in May. Remember what the street sign said. When that's your motto the police probably say "F**k em, let them kill each other".

Baltimore breaks 43 year old record for murders in a month... I'd love to hear Scal, Detox or our resident independent(s) offer a solution to this. They just treat the thread like it's radioactive because they've supported the government in place forever and without challenging it. What can you say? Crickets....

Good Morning Baltimore... New month-same results, the shootings continue. Isn't it amazing that a handful of police officers accused and usually falsely accused can mass such a public outcry but these record killings in several major cities remains neglected. I believe the only way this will stop is if a campaign to turn in gang members & drug dealers is imposed. Of course that'll never happen with the "Don't be a Snitch" crowd. They'd rather have the chalk lines in the streets and the cops stay away and let them conduct "business".

Federal police officers (10) will be coming to Charm City to find out why the brothers keep killing each other at such a record pace...

This could be the beginning of the Federalization of police departments across the U.S. More states rights in play according to the Dictator-In-Chiefs playbook. Remember it starts off small (every takeover).

The city has recorded 196 murders thus far this year. 2014 had 211 FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR. Great leadership, every major city could learn from this crew. Sadly, many on this blog would be thrilled if every major city was run by these people... Baltimore 6 trial scheduled for October, get your popcorn and the fire hoses ready...
