Just so everyone knows what your future presidential running mate is doing...he has essentially put in place that undocumented immigrants shall receive free health care through California's medi-cal program which is the equivalent to the federal's medicare program...

In an essence, grusome is giving people who are definitely here illegally in this country in California free healthcare at the tax payers expense...giving free healthcare to persons who are undocumented than to those who are legal citizens and cannot afford it...California is broke as all get up and is currently in debt with the Fed's at a 20 billion dollar plug due to the mismanagement of the funds borrowed during COVID and is unable to pay it back which has now become the burden of each business in the State to repay it. And we all saw how the State mismanaged those funds as it made world news.

This guy just gives money away and if elected will do more of the same to all of you...This goes back to what many have been saying about the border situation, why are they coming...for various reasons, yes, but when you are giving away something free without repercussions then why not take the handout...this is what those illegals will be doing and at a hefty price for this far left State...so far left that apparently it left you out with any concerns you may have with this...if you have an illness and are an undocumented immigrant then California will have you and you will get free healthcare...C'mon ever'body, come getcha some...

Expanded coverage should save California money in the long run.  Illegal migrants often delay or avoid healthcare because they aren't eligible for coverage, making it more expensive to cure them when they end up in hospitals.  In countries with universal healthcare, total spending is less as percentage of GDP.

That's a facade....it's not a matter of spending money to save money. The point is, you should not be offering free anything to undocumented individuals. This entices them to come here to our country and receive free healthcare. Not, because you are already here or got here so let's give you free stuff. That's not right. And if you say otherwise, talk to those who are here documented and cannot receive the same liberties or benefits. You will see outrage.

Wouldn't or couldn't that money be spent on better resources? I think so, California, like most of the US, is struggling with many issues and giving free healthcare to non US citizens just sends the wrong message. It is already perceived out here in California, and has for decades, that you get more from being illegal in this State than you do being legal. This is just another clip that shoves it right in your face. If you aren't helping your own people (citizens), how can you or why would you want to help those who you are not responsible for (non-citizens)? Since when do non-citizens get anything from other countries other than some type of foreign aid. I would not expect any handout from any other country if I were to stockpile into their country. However, if other countries started offering these types of benefits to non-citizens then why purchase healthcare at all. Wouldn't it be cheaper to forego getting your own healthcare for you and your family when I could go to Brazil on vacation and get that needed surgery on Brazil's taxpayers dime.

This makes no sense at all. Stop giving the handouts and let's see how many of them stay or keep wanting to come here. Other than the illegal activity that some pursue or are forced into, I don't see that being a long term solution once you fix the handouts/welfare situation, as well the employment opportunities that has to be addressed. 

Completely ridiculous to offer this when California cannot even take care of its own. This State is broke so what's the catch here...

Undocumented immigrants who get paid above the table do pay taxes under their SSNs though. So if they’re taxpayers, then why shouldn’t they get services in exchange for their dime?

Great, what’s you’re evidence for that? 

For decades under US law, illegal migrants qualify for emergency medicaid even without California expanded coverage.  But anyone must be very ill to qualify for limited healthcare.  So universal coverage could save money when sick migrants are treated early before their illness become expensive to cure.  A ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.  Contrary to common belief, migrants don't qualify for most social programs and lilkely travel to US for other reasons.

Emergencies and pregnancies is already covered.....

And the additional healthcare is not being limited to only those that have registered with the IRS and have an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number where they may be paying in some form of taxes...this is opening up to anyone who qualifies with their income...which of course can be fabricated without being able to authenticate through Social Security, State or IRS...

It's just free if you make less than $17,609 for single people, $23,792 for couples and $36,156 for a family of four annually...

So how do you verify income for individuals that do not pay into State or Federal....

This is going to cost California taxpayers 2.6 billion every year....

For a State that is broke and is hemorrhaging money for what Newsome calls getting "universal access to healthcare coverage"...sounds like a step towards universal healthcare....

Why would a Governor from any state be traveling to China for a visit...yea yea yea, climate change...I'm sure that's the reason, right...he's the first American Governor to visit China in over 4 years and yes, California has a history of its Governors visiting China, but this is no layaway visit...Newsome has already set in motion his green initiative here in California with an extremely dubious plan that has way more questions than answers, but this is enough to get him going...now he has initiated the largest medical healthcare plan to undocumented workers in his State...another very formidable feat to add to his resume which atones to the masses or demographic that many politici are trying to attract....China at the forefront again....Also, if you are in with the lobbyist in California then you are in the know...here is just one article of many...

It has also upended the politics of immigration, putting Democrats on the defensive ahead of the 2024 election.

To convince Republicans to back more aid to Ukraine, the White House and Senate Democrats are currently entertaining drastic limits on asylum and an expansion of detention beds and deportations. While the negotiations in Congress are ongoing, lawmakers have signaled they want to reach a deal in the next few weeks.

In Border Patrol's Del Rio sector, which includes Eagle Pass, the agency has processed as many as 4,000 migrants in 24 hours in recent days, a record high for the area, internal data show.

Diaz said her family left their hometown of Usme, near Colombia's capital of Bogota, because her teenage son was threatened by guerilla fighters. The family said they had relatives in Chicago willing to help them settle there. 

Asked if traveling to the U.S. was going to be worth it, given the experiences her family had endured so far, Diaz said, "God willing, given all this effort. 

"We sold almost everything we had in Colombia to make this journey," Diaz said.

These people leave everything they own in their own country to come to this country in hopes of getting in...it's sad, but a problem that should not be shouldered by another country...coming here should not be a solution to another countries humanitarian problem...and we should not be accepting of all individuals just because they are in an unfortunate predicament elsewhere in the world...to that token, you would be helping and accepting of every individual with a sad and unfortunate foreign situation when there are just as many sad and unfortunate domestic situations that are being ignored with our own people...coming to the US should not be a solution...we've set a very bad precedent...

 Not just there.  You see where the mayor of NYC is suggesting to take some folks in their houses.  He says he will find a way around the 30-day rule that AirBNB has.  Then they will pay the folks to house them.

They closed a school up there because of the weather in order to house the illegals.  So, now it has become a burden on even the so-called 'sanctuary' cities, they now have to do something with their own kids instead of going to their school.  

They were being nice and sympathetic and saying to come there if no one else wanted them.  Now look at the mess they have.

They have not been slowly prepared for it over a generation or two, like the border states.  Now all of a sudden they are confused.

Here's another article about how smuggling operations remove part of the wall that was built....a reason why the wall is breached is because they don't have enough agents to be in certain areas because they are attending to other illegal crossers...so a diversion is created in one area that has to be tended to while another group does construction work on a portion of the wall to obtain a hole....so , we either hire more agents or somehow deter the masses from coming here in droves so that the agents that are patrolling the wall can actually patrol instead of tend to groups of illegal crossers...a lot argue that the wall wouldn't work or isn't a solution or it didn't work, but this gives you a little insight as to why that is..."smuggling operations"...and what do those smuggling operations consist of???? Are they good or bad????

 There does not need to be any deals or reforms made.  Just enforce the current laws.  This is not asylum.  This is simply illegals entering because they know they can.

There does not need to be more funding.  Tell them they are not welcome there and to return home and apply the correct way.
