Donald Trump plans to ask the Supreme Court to hear his claim that presidential immunity should shield him from civil suits related to the Jan. 6 riot, his attorneys said in a court filing Monday.

A federal appeals court last month ruled that the former president was not automatically entitled to immunity from a civil lawsuit seeking to hold him responsible for “physical and emotional injuries” sustained by two U.S. Capitol Police officers during the 2021 attack on the Capitol.

MSNBC reveals that Trump isn't required to attend trial.  But his attendance is to gain media coverage to sell absurd claim that he is the victim of government weaponization.  They are trying to keep him out of office to prevent him fighting for his supporters.  His cult is so gullible in believing lies.

Judge Chutkan today questioned Trump’s bs absolute immunity defense by asking hypotheticals if a former president is immune to criminal prosecution for:

- selling state secrets 

- ordering Seal Team 6 to assasinate a political rival 

- selling pardons to the highest bidder

Trump’s counsel argues that a president cannot be prosecuted for those crimes, unless Congress were to impeach and convict him first lol. Because Congress is an impartial court of law, right - haha. Laughable argument by Team Trump, it’s going nowhere. 

BTW, no complaints from Judge Chutkan who was Swatted by Fanboys for Trump over the weekend. 

Outside the courtroom, Trump tries to intimidate judges by threatening lawlessness and violence if he loses.  Unlike other presidents, he refuses to denounce political violence which is never acceptable in the US.

I can't wait to charge Biden with the murder of the vaccinated who died from COVID.

And how about the migrants who drowned trying to cross the border. And then the soldiers in Afganistan, the Afghan father and his children killed by the U.S. drone strike. Involuntary manslaughter maybe?

 Years of vaccinating millions of Americans have proven that covid vaccines are safe and effective.  Without vaccines, there would have been far more deaths and hospitalizations.  Frivolous lawsuits are usually dismissed in court.  For every one million vaccines distributed, one individual was compensated under National vaccine injury compensation program according to HRSA data.

How anyone can claim it is safe when they have no idea how may or may not know long term effects...it's not like it was tested for years and years before it was put out there...make all the claims you want but it doesn't take a know it all to know that no one, and I mean no one, knows the long term effect of getting the vaccine...we will know in years to come as issues start to surface and more studies are done, but I ain't buying it...drugs of any kind take many years of development to know the side effects long term....that's why the phrase "long term" is the most critical aspect when talking about the vaccine and whether or not it is safe....

Biden said get the vaccine and you will not die, end up in the hospital or even get COVID. Such a horrible lie two days after the UK said 40% of COVID hospitalizations were the fully vaccinated. He purposely lied. Tens of thousands of COVID deaths were the fully vaccinated just in the U.S. How many of those thought they were bulletproof because of Biden's blatant lies? 

Charge him with murder.

I'm not anti vaccine. It saved many from the original COVID. The mutations Delta and Omicron were a different story for the vaccinated and all we heard were lies that killed thousands.

 Let me see if I can say this where you will understand my side of this,it doesn't fluctuate one bit.If a president commits a crime while in office,or out of office.Charge that president for the crimes,i got no problem with that.You trumpers are the only ones constantly whining and crying about that.

Yes,  91 criminal charges in all.....well, SO FAR!........then of course there are all the civil court cases he faces this year too, including his 2nd rape trial next week, a phone scam trail at the end of the month and several Jan 6 related civil trials filed by police officers from the Capitol......to name just the few I remember at the moment

 You do know that just about every president or political figure could have charges brought against them if that were actually true...many, and I mean many, have questionable acts that are committed in and out of office...it's just a legal path that no one took because it's the president and there is a precedent that was not set until now...now, it's just about raising legal action for everything....this has become the new norm but everyone needs to be careful about how this takes place...it will, and has, changed everything...it's the new world
