 What I'm asking you is,you said "You do know that just about every president or political figure could have charges brought against them if that were actually true".In my post #49 I screwed up and posted "If what your actually true" instead of what I meant to post "If what were actually true".I'm not understanding what you are referring to when you say "if that were actually true".Im asking you,if what were actually true?

I was making a point about your comment with regards to charging presidents in or out of office and that if it were true, which is I why I insinuated that basically every president would be charged with something...none of them in office are on the up and up...it's a slippery slope to go that route and a reason why it was not done in the past but it is becoming the norm...

 It isn't becoming the norm just because it happens to one of them.Don't try and overturn election results,or try to keep classified documents by moving them when the government already knows you have them.And you wouldn't be facing all those charges.Once you start trying to overturn election results,something has to be done,or then that does become the norm.I'll stick with my comment that if they've (any politician,repub or democrat) have committed crimes,they should suffer the consequences of those actions,nobody is above the law.

Mrwhatsittoya is right.  In the future, unlikely for other presidents to be indicted for crimes unless they have a history of violating laws.  No other president has Trump's extraordinary and long history of legal problems.  He is the author of his own misfortune.  Worst to not hold Trump accountable because of the risk a future president might try the same things.

 Right, so let's add Biden and his family to the mix...are they also not in legal trouble and is more to come...I think so, just like Trump and his family...you can't act like what we are seeing with Hilary, Trump and now Biden and his family with legal problems is not setting a trend...this is not normal US politics from head officials....this is becoming the norm whether you say so or not, as in this is not and has not been normal behavior from prior US presidents or head officials and their families until now...And yes, prior presidents and family members could have all been in legal trouble but the paths were not gone down....Now that path has been traveled...

And everyone has their own experience with voting irregularities....been going on for decades....I have my own experiences just as many other do...I have seen some pretty crazy shit at the polls when voting over the years and it's sometimes not right...everyone hangs up on the word mass election fraud, but in reality if even one ballot is misappropriated that is considered fraud...nowhere does it say that fraud has to be on a mass scale...fraud is fraud, whether it is one act or several acts...and the truth is, there was fraud that was found in the voting as votes were changed as a result of the inquiry....mass fraud, which everyone seems to hang their hat on, may be a different story if you want to dissect the word "mass"....people need to get a grip on themselves and realize that every human on this earth has a right to challenge something if they truly feel they were wronged...could it have been handled differently, yes, but that doesn't mean anyone is wrong in challenging what they truly felt was wrong...it happens in court all the time....given our electoral process, is there enough time for a president to make a claim in court before the next president is sworn in?? I think not, so that means one needs to turn to other alternatives....and if anyone thinks that there is not one single shred of voting irregularities in this country, you are either naive or just plain dumb...

No one is innocent here, but everyone parades around in here like their party is better than the other, which it is not...both parties blow and the system is broken as well as the individuals inside it....call a spade a spade

 He did have and did use his right to challenge when he thought he was "wronged",not one person has said he couldn't challenge the results.Unfortunately for him he lost all 60 or more of those cases,where he thought he was wronged.

You don't think given our electoral process that he had enough time to make a claim in court?He had enough time to have 60 claims in court,that he was wronged,and each one was thrown out (some even by judges that he appointed).

You say he "didn't have enough time for a president to make a claim in court before the next president is sworn in".It certainly has been enough time for every other president,why is fat donny any different?How long did he need,cause it's been 3 fuckin years,has that been enough time to show how he was so wronged by the system?But yet he still has nothing to show proof wise how he was so wronged.Showing up to court with the Rudy statement that "We've got lots of theories,we just don't have the evidence" is never going to turn out good in a court of law,not even after 3 years.

Surely you jest...there absolutely was...maybe not to the point to overturn the election but there were miscounted votes in both directions...is it too much for the American people to expect the count to be 100% accurate??? If it is not accurate for electing the president, it is most likely not accurate in other voting aspects in the local and State level...that should be a concern to everyone..

With the technology out there it should be 100% accurate....whether anyone likes Trump's method at pointing that out, at least something was done about pointing that out...it shouldn't have come to that but when elections are close that's what happens..it's not the first time a defeated presidential elect has made claims of improper voting counts and won't be the last with the system that is in place...if at the very least it will be interesting to see how the corrections that are being made. as a result of all this, will change the future...I can tell you for one that when I vote I am not asked for proof of identification at all and I never understood why...I was when I was younger but nowadays I am not asked any longer...it's as if there is n one protecting anything...and this wasn't just one year it happened, it's been happening since early 2000's...something has to change so if one thing came about it, it is that the poll regulators need to enforce what is really common sense...the mail in system is whole nother beast...

 You are right it shouldn't have come to that,but it did,and that's why he's facing the charges.You shouldn't have a problem with criminals being charged with their crimes.

You make it sound like trump is some kind of hero for pointing out election flaws.But according to trump it's only rigged when he loses,otherwise the elections are fair.trump ain't pointing out anything,he's just crying cause he lost.

If you aren't asked for proof of identification the next time you vote and you never understood why,ask them why.I have been asked the last two times I've voted for ID,or maybe I just had my ID and voter card out already,I'm not sure.

Well if you know of the technology to make elections 100% accurate,open up a company that uses that technology,problem solved.

False equivalence to compare Trump's 93 indictments with zero indictment of Biden. No evidence supports his big lie of stolen election. Fact is voting fraud is so rare that it has never determined the outcome of any major US election.  However plenty of evidences of republican attempts to overturn results of fair election and threat to democracy. Myth is that Trump is an innocent victim of government weaponization and not given due process under the law.

Trump lawyers propose dangerous argument that presidents are immune unless impeached and convicted in congress. This means presidents can have enemies killed and escape justice by resigning before i.peachment. Or kill Senate members to make two-thirds vote impossible. If re-elected, Trump would hire people with insane ideas to do his bidding.

Dangerous arugement to claim former president's can be tried in court for making a speech where he encourges the crowd to march peacefully.

The president commited no physical action nor did he say "We must enter the Capitol." Only one person is on record making that statement and he just got probation. 

So let's send Biden to court. After all people actually died because of his direction.

A reason for the violence is the false belief of stolen election promoted by Trump.  He told the crowd "if you don't fight like hell, you won't have a country any more." Witnesses confirm major dereliction of duty for him to do nothing to stop the violence.  Pence called for help.  Trump writes about peace months later.

"March peacefully and patriotically and make you voices heard" Funny how the Jan 6th committee and the news media keeps leaving this out. 

He also said "We're gonna march down to the Capitol and CHEER ON our brave Senators, Congressmen and women...."

Yeah, that sounds like an insurrection.....

Trump had no jurisdiction to stop any violence. That was Pelosi's job.  And also the mayor of DC. Pelosi rejected the national guard, "bad optics".

You see this on all the news media; Trump never ordered the national guard!!!!  That is because TRUMP COULD NOT EVEN IF HE WANTED TO.
