The gap between what CNN viewers describe as the pool of unvaccinated people and who they really are is so wide it's hard to put into words

When NY, NJ, and Conn were a complete disaster, it wasn’t the blue states fault, it was the red presidents fault. 

Now it’s not the blue presidents fault, it’s the red states fault.

Didn't Trump delegate covid responsibilities to the states? Weren't the states totally unprepared to take on this role? Didn't the Federal government send the states expired and broken equipment from the federal stockpile? 

There's plenty of blame to go around you but can't rewrite the history of what took place.

The federal government has sent 200 ventilators and 100 high-flow nasal kits and related supplies to Florida this week to help the state respond to the surge in Covid hospitalizations.

DeSantis asked for them yesterday & they were shipped today. He didn't have to ask "nicely" & he didn't have to praise the President to get them. This is the same guy who said he didn't want to hear "blip" from Joe. Fucking hypocrite!

This is the way our government should work!

Under Biden, US rapid vaccination rollout has played a critical role in curtailing covid pandemic according to Commonwealth fund and Yale university.  The number of cases has significantly declined from January peak of 300,000 daily.  Without vaccines, there would have been at least 279,000 deaths and 1.25 million hospitalizations.

The US Food and Drug Administration is expected to announce within the next 48 hours that it is authorizing booster shots for people who are immunocompromised, according to a source familiar with the discussions.

This would be a third shot of the current two-dose Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. That announcement could slide, the source cautioned, but this is the current timing.

What, do you want forced testing? The tests are available. If people feel sick and want to be tested, they're there. If people don't feel sick, or if vaccination gives them a false sense of security, they won't. Is what it is. You're right though, in the long run, testing is far more important than vaccination.

....even with the "fake" PCR tests available. Testing shouldn't be used as a reason for shutdowns, mask mandates, etc. Purely a means of tracking.
