Smallpox and measles? What does either of them have to do with the price of tea in China, or this thread? Smallpox is virtually non-existent. I don't't think many people are actually getting smallpox vaccinations anymore but maybe. Measles still exists but is rarely contracted. There as been a small uptick in cases in the last decade because of new-age anti-vax parents not getting their kids vaccinated against measles even though they themselves were vaccinated as children. You know throwback vegan sage burning anti-vaxxers. Not this new breed. What does any of that have to do with this subject tho mediaugh?
its a metaphor stu not literal
for the crap the rightwing media keeps throwing at us that certain populations in certain areas might b mostly all FULLY VACCINATED against the original genomes of covid-19 but bcuz those areas might exhibit high infection rates of the new DELTA mutation they basically infer to their viewers and readers that supposedly proves the donald chump-vaccines r ineffective and so vaccinations r stupid
just like the diff between vaccines for one virus and the infection rates of another virus
apples to oranges
its a dumbass rightwing-media comparison and the impetus behind theeir push is political
like saying a vintage model-t ford and a 2020 ford mustang r exactly the same bcuz they r both called cars
really ???
yep the original covid-19 and the new DELTA variant r both called covid
but they r not the same either
but that wrong comparison is the message they r pushing
and weak-minded people who WANT to believe that use that sham comparison to justify their wrong-headed beliefs that vaccinations dont work
