Hospitals and doctors got paid more for Medicare patients diagnosed with Covid or if it's considered presumed they have Covid absent a laboratory-confirmed test, and three times more if the patients are placed on a ventilator to cover the cost of care and loss of business resulting from a shift in focus to treat Covid cases.

This higher allocation of funds was made possible under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act through a Medicare 20% add-on to its regular payment for Covid patients.

“What we’re doing on the death certificate is saying that that was an underlying cause that led to their premature death. It may have actually caused somebody to have a pneumonia that actually led to their death, but they would have not gotten the pneumonia if they didn’t have COVID," Dr. Mead said.

Are they counting vaccine deaths the same way? 

I doubt it. 

Are there any financial incentives to treating a patient that is sick from the vaccine? 

No. 

Are there any financial incentives for listing the vaccine on a death certificate? 

No. 

Does this make the numbers inaccurate? 

Yes. 

If you’re in the hospital and you have Covid it’s important for everyone to know you have Covid. From intake, to the nurses, to the Doctors, to the medical examiner, to the funeral home. Everyone that the person talks with or handles the body will be made aware that the person has/had Covid. 

There is a 0% chance that having Covid will get lost in the shuffle. 

If you’re in the hospital due to the vaccine it’s not important for anyone to know. You’re reporting discomfort and they’re trying to help you. 

There is a very good chance that if you’re in the hospital because of the vaccine that that information will get lost in the shuffle. 

Covid deaths are over reported. 

Vaccine deaths are underreported. 

By how much? Nobody knows. 

If you disagree with this you don’t have any common sense.

 Kind of like how hospital visits are not linked to vaccines. If there were, people would know the true numbers of the side effects. Manipulation to fit an agenda. If you can't see that, you need to open your eyes and critical thinking.

Under reporting of covid deaths confirmed by Institute of health metrics, Boston university school of public health and World health organization.  In 2020, excess deaths above expected totals can only be explained by the pandemic.

Under reporting of vaccine deaths debunked by fact checking from Reuters, USA today, Full fact, politifact, Forbes and Associated press.  In the US, data from vaccine adverse event reporting system is twisted by anti-vaxxers to smear vaccines.  But VAERS disclaimer warns reports may be incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental or unverified.  Data does not include information from investigations and cannot be interpreted to reach conclusions about vaccines.  Center for disease control has investigated thousands of deaths and found no causal link to vaccines.

It is  true that covid deaths have been under reported and supposed deaths by vaccines are over reported.

Deaths from heart disease—which ranked as the leading cause of death in the United States in 2020—increased by 4.8% from 659,041 in 2019 to 690,882 in 2020, marking the largest increase in heart disease deaths since 2012. Similarly, the researchers found deaths increased by 15.4% for diabetes, 11.1% for unintentional injury, and 9.8% for Alzheimer's disease.
