of ACA , how did Mryland do it with several other states? The only explanation I can come up with is Maryland initiated before the President's

US has a patchwork healthcare system. Some states allow special enrollment so that Americans can buy insurance because they run their own market exchanges. However Trump has made a mistake by not reopening enrollment for most states. Uninsured sick people are more likely to delay treatment and continue to spread infection to other people. This increases costs for everyone since emergency care is more expensive than primary care. Pandemics highlight the importance of universal healthcare.
WHO isn't responsible for US slow response to pandemic according to Council for foreign relations. Other countries received the same information but respond faster than the US. Fault is in Trump's reluctance to listen to experts because of his suspicions they are part of the deep state working against him. However there is no evidence that a deep state exists according to investigations by state and justice departments.
American medical association criticizes Trump halt to WHO funding because Americans would be less safe. To defeat a pandemic, international cooperation and data are necessary. Trump brags about travel bans despite history proving their ineffectiveness. US and Italy became epicenters of coronavirus outbreak despite implementing China travel bans at the same time. WHO, John Hopkins center for health security and National academy of sciences are right.
"The briefings began as a good idea to educate the public about the dangers of the virus. But sometime in the last three weeks Mr. Trump seems to have concluded that the briefings could be a showcase for him. The President's outbursts against his political critics are notably off key at this moment. This isn't impeachment, and Covid-19 isn't shifty Schiff. It's a once-a-century threat to American life and livelihood.

Well said. Many states have opened the special ACA enrollment for people just lost their jobs as well as health insurances by this Covid-19 pandemic.
Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington are those nine states opening ACA special enrollments. While California and Washington D.C. have already opened the ACA re-enrollment prior to those nine states. Noticeably, correct me if i'm wrong, all of these 11 states appear to be blue states.

South Dakota has 1,168 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the state's health department. An additional 8,691 tests have come back negative for the virus. At least 329 patients have recovered from the virus, and 51 have been hospitalized.
The state has so far seen six deaths from COVID-19. The first death was a man in his 60s from Pennington County who had underlying health conditions

If they are working in meat packing factories, I'd be a little concerned. But that's just me being a Democrat and caring about the safety of all.

Shameful of Trump to sideline medical experts so that he could spread propaganda, confuse with misinformation and argue with journalists doing their legal job to hold government accountable. Trump has dangerously undermine truth in a divided country with attacks on mainstream media according to Committee to protect journalism.
