Congressional Republicans have been trying for more than a week to pass a clean funding bill allocating $250 billion to replenish the program as it became increasingly apparent that funds would soon run out. Democrats, however, blocked the legislation to offer a counter-proposal of their own consisting of a progressive wish-list of long sought-for items.
Several Senate Democrats are now breaking with party leadership to demand immediate replenishment of the fund now.

On Thursday at least 20,000 small business loans went unprocessed because Democrats Pelosi and Senator Chuck Schumer would not approve more funding.
Rep. Jim Jordan announced on Thursday that Democrats will not pass legislation to save small businesses until they get their legislation that would give money to states that let criminals out of prison.

Beaches, parks to reopen in Jacksonville, Fla., on Friday at pm. The beaches and parks will be open for essential activities only, which per Gov. Ron DeSantis's (R) executive order include walking, biking, hiking, fishing, running, swimming and surfing.
These are accidents just waiting to happen.

How many of these deaths happen after hydrochloroquine and Z-pack, zinc ect. were used?
I was looking at the countries that Malaria is prevalent and I see a very, very low Cov-19 infection situation. Huh?
My choice, If offered, would be to take the Hydro./z-pac/zinc as a prophylactic action, and move on from this. The Hydo drug has been used for over 40 years and I have used the Z-pack more that once.
I heard from 1 source that any Cov-19 cases in the US.... the Fed government foots the bill. Kinda works out good $$ for the hospitals.

But then again, my oldest sister is a pharmacist, my younger sister was a big shot @ Pfizer & my older brother who became deaf when getting meningitis at the age of 4 & in spite of his hearing loss he became a Professor teaching American History to deaf students @ Gallaudet University.
As far as I'm concerned, life is good.
BTW...how many people do you know that retire @ 55 & go back to school to get their BA?

Dr. Chris Murray, the chair of Health Metric Sciences at the University of Washington, predicts only four states could open by May 4, according to his model. These four states are VT, WV, MT and HI. Other states may have to wait until late June or early July.
