Covid-19 Good And Bad

As previously stated by former cdc director Redfield...there are incentives for hospitals with covid reporting.   As we are finding out now, numbers fudged to fit their narratives and pockets lined.

 I never trusted #'s from the federal & state governments, hospitals or nursing homes but people here will quote those stats to support their narrative.

And as previously stated, NO, there are no "incentives for hospitals to report covid" -- but there are additional compensations provided for hospitals FORCED to carry a much larger burden of costs due to covid patients which take up an enormous amount of expensive resources.  There is a clear difference.  Most people understand this.

Mid... I agree... its completely f_ upped.  Things would be a lot different if all people involved were honest.  From orange man to lord fauci to sleepy joe... these bastards pit us against each other to better their cause and line their pockets.  Media should be held accountable but they are not.  Do not like the direction of this country is going.

Additional compensation is the definition of an incentive. 

Scientists criticize controversial study claiming that lockdowns do not do much to save lives.  Study focusing only on death rates while ignoring hospitalization and case rates, is non-peer reviewed and written by economists.  Not epidemiologists from John Hopkins covid resource center.  Since scientific evidences show lockdowns work, a study trying to prove the opposite is fundamentally flawed according to Imperial college London. 

Incomplete meta analysis of 24 studies cherry picked out of 18,590 studies to suit biased narrative.  Excluded are epidemiology studies that show efficacy of lockdowns.  For example, University of Oxford study that found lockdowns saved up to 3 million lives in Europe.  No University of Greenwich review of 348 studies showing the importance of lockdowns in reducing virus spread. 

However the study did give credit to shutdown of non-essential businesses in reducing covid deaths by 10%.  Benefits of lockdowns may be under estimated because they pay off months later instead of immediately according to International monetary fund.  Medical fact checker Health feedback has debunked past claims that lockdowns don't reduce mortality.  Generally, public health experts support non-pharmaceutical interventions in pandemic.

Fubah2 is right.  Facebook has flagged conspiracy theory that doctors are inflating number of covid patients.  No evidence supports this claim according to American medical assoction, politifact and USA today.  Instead Kaiser family foundation found under counts of covid cases instead of over counts.  Risk of government penalties keep medical fraud in low 3% range.

Being a numbers cruncher I took a look at World-o-meter data. Looking at the four big mask mandate states, Washington, Oregon, California, New York. Mask mandates, indoors/outdoors, vaccination proof needed to eat in restaurants, etc.

Since December 1st until February 3rd how have these states performed compared to all of the United States? 

Population of the US at 334,088,290. Population the four mandated states combined, 70,798,414. That is 21.19% of US population.

These four states had 6,237,873 reported cases for that time period, 12/1/21 -- 02/03/22. The total US cases were 27,477,009. 

The four mandated states that makeup 21.19% of the US population had 22.7% of the cases during a national surge.

However, just like donald "adolf" trump's "BIG LIE," certain people across a wide spectrum of MSM and social media will IGNORE the facts and just keep repeating that "incentive" B-LLSH-T because it fits their partisan narrative.
