Perhaps it's because anyone that was laid off and making less than $50k, is actually making more sitting on their 'duff.   Part of the CARES Act gives $600 a week to laid off individuals... ON TOP of the unemployment they get from the State.  This support of the CARES Act expires on July 31st, so perhaps these security guards can start working again on Aug. 1st.

“We’ve really seen an influx of patients with COVID-19 over the past two to three weeks,” said Dr. Lisa Williams, a Pulmonary Critical Care Specialist at hospitals in Montgomery. “Our ICU beds are full. We’ve been having a lot of overflow in the ICU.”

"On Saturday, 1,107 new cases were reported in the state of North Carolina, its largest number so far."

"Virginia reported a record number of new cases Monday..."

"The 41-patient spike in ICU beds in use from Sunday to Monday was the largest single-day increase since the pandemic arrived in Minnesota in March."

OSHA — the federal agency in charge of worker safety — has not issued enforceable guidelines about COVID-19, as it did during the H1N1 outbreak in 2009, instead opting for voluntary guidance.

Trump said this would be gone by Easter. Pence said it would be gone by Memorial Day. They are absolutely clueless.

They are not clueless Midnight1. They are going "all in" on drawing a straight flush with pure luck, so the economy rebounds before they face the voters. They know they are not running against Joe Biden; they are running against themselves with only the golden calf as an ally. Unfortunately, with the American voter in a "gimme mine" mindset they may well be right. 51% of the "patriotic" voters will vote for their bellies and their bank accounts, everyone else be damned.

I have much more faith in society than you Key.

Maybe you are surrounded by the "gimme mine" but I realize that is not what has made our country great. People are tired of the clusterfuck in Washington and I believe the leadership will change for the better in November.

39 million jobs are not coming back. Small businesses are already closing along with large corporations filing for bankruptcy protection. I don't know of any companies hiring & many Americans have lost their healthcare. Bank accounts are already being depleted & soon we will have the repo of cars & foreclosures on homes.

Thinking the economy will rebound enough to save these cretins in DC  is just like busting in Blackjack.

The only ones in the "gimme mine" are the large corporate pigs sucking on the tit of gov't bailouts while avoiding paying taxes. And the billionaire class and their cancerous ideology that you spread propaganda for. They are in a "gimme all" mode, and may the rest suffer and die.

Covid1984 is designed to financially handicap the world in order to make people dependent on the tyranny state. A manufactured financial armageddon will force people to accept being under the control of the kakastocracy.

Speaking of cretins, when are they going to replace you brainless automiton trolls with a bot?

    Relax. I'm unvaxxed!

CDC CONFIRMS EXTREMELY LOW COVID 19 DEATH RATE.       technocracy.news

"The CDC now independently confirms recent research by Stanford University that Covid-19 has an extremely low death rate. This exposes the technocrat hysteria as being man-made and not based on any real verifyed data."

"The overall death rate for Covid-19, under its most likely scenario is .26 percent. That's the overall infection fatality rate (IFR). Most people are more likely to wind up 6ft. under because of almost anything else under the sun other than Covid-19."

This exposes the Bill Gates' controlled WHO death hype narrative, "which helped drive the panic and lockdowns, which said the death rate was 3.4 percent. Not to mention that the overall death rate is meaningless because the numbers are so lopsided. Given that at least one half of the deaths were in nursing homes, making the IFR for non-nursing home residents only about 0.1 percent."

"The CDC estimates the death rate from Covid-19 for those under 50 as 1 in 5k for those with be symptoms. Those without symptoms are more likely to die in a car accident. And school children, whose lives, mental health, and education we are destroying, are more likely to get struck by lightning."

But Midnight 1+1=0 would have all us believe we need to keep baseball away from the kids and keep them locked up for their own good. And that sums up just how much credibility this tool has.

Let's not decide who I am surrounded by or who influences my mindset or opinion. I am not led down a certain path by acolytes of that particular philosophy. You do not know me and my lack of faith in the current society is well justified. I will offer you an example of why the economy will be the deciding factor, for either candidate.

We all witnessed Memorial Day weekend coverage from around the nation on many forms of media; liberal, conservative, competent, incompetent, slanted and straight. One thing was overwhelmingly obvious. Millions of people decided to "do what I want to do". Masks, social distancing, precautionary measures and safety were given the ignoble middle finger. You had to be blind to miss it. Beaches, bars, restaurants, night clubs, all packed to the limit and servers running hither and yon to make a buck. In Mesa we even had a group of senior citizens, socializing after a holiday golf event, showing no precautions at all. Eat, drink, and be merry. No masks to interfere with the eating and drinking and no limiting of persons at tables to keep social distancing. That was senior citizens, in the second highest infection rate county in the state. We had people tubing down the river with their cooler of beer and sharing their tube with any skanky broad they could get to ride with them. Tailgating at the parking lot because that is part of the annual fun. Screw the coronavirus, screw the medical authorities, screw the law, they have not got enough cops to stop a revolution anyway. Coast to coast and everywhere in between, even the states with coronavirus on the rise, it was exactly the same story. Every single person that participated and/or will do so again, is a Trump voter. Pay no attention to what they tell the polls about their desire for honest, competent leadership. In the privacy of their own homes or voting booths thay will be Trump supporters. MY belly, MY bank account, MY vacation, MY desires, MY perqs, and MY lifestyle will go to the political promise, not the social conscience.

Good luck with your faith in the American society.

Mass non-compliance is exactly what is needed to secure the freedom of America. Quarantine is what you do to restrict the movement of a sick person. TYRANNY is when you restrict the movement of a healthy person.

The duty of a true Patriot is to protect his country from its government. And to call out those who are the enemies of freedom. That would be you.

US has 100,000 coronavirus deaths in early stage of pandemic that might become the worst in US history.  But US shouldn't be the worst in anything.  Years ago, global health security index rates US as best prepared country against pandemics because of Bush and Obama administrations.  Now Worldometer indicates US has a higher death rate (per capita) than majority of countries.  For examples, Germany, China, South Korea, Australia, Japan, Canada and others.  Blame Trump administration for a massive decline in pandemic preparedness.

US has a population roughly 10 times greater than Canada.  But US has 20 times more coronavirus cases and 15 times more deaths.  In Canada, federal government supports provinces and has been increasing public health spending in recent years.  In US, public health is underfunded and the president undermines US response to pandemic.  Canada has more trustworthy political leadership and universal healthcare system.  US has a dysfunctional political system that costs lives.  In Canada, federal government buy medical supplies and distribute them to provinces based on need.  In US, federal efforts have been haphazard and based more on politics instead of science.

The greatest country in the world could not produce nasal swabs?

Dumb and highly misinformed question. The answer is to roll out an agenda that includes: Medical Martial Law, Surveillance and Dataveillance without regard to privacy laws, cashless society, global financial crash, roll out of 5G, censorship, mandatory vaccinations, human micro chipping agenda amongst many other dystopian reasons the Kakistocracy has for creating a Plandemic.

More steaming piles of BS, Skippy. The CDC now independently confirms recent research by Stanford University that Covid-19 has an extremely low death rate. This exposes the technocrat hysteria as being man-made and not based on any real verifyed data.   As reported by technocracy.news

Top secret report smuggled out of Bulgaria at the cost of an agents life indicates a Yugoslavian madman has been inserted into Canadian-American political opinion forums to completely destroy cogent, responsible thought. Truth and logic are said to be the first victims. Rumor, innuendo and conspiracy theory opinions from infowars and like sites are thought to be the ammunition used. Bill gates has hired a team of unemployed former FBI agents to run the culprit to ground. They have many leads to pursue, including one that says the madman is a pathetic speller and well known to attack socially responsible people with name calling and accusations of stupidity.

According to mediabiasfactcheck, Washington times is a questionable source due to numerous failed fact checks, poor sourcing and contradictions of scientific consensus.  Worldwide, public health organizations recommend lockdowns to reduce spread of virus.  Lockdowns have proven so successful in avoiding the overwhelming of healthcare systems that restrictions are now being eased in many countries.  Without mitigation efforts, there would have been millions more cases or deaths in the US according to Institute of health metrics.

However Sweden's loose restrictions have been disappointing with higher death rate than neighbors.  Problem is that developing herd immunity takes too long.  7% of Swed population has coronavirus antibodies but at least 70% is needed for herd immunity.  According to Academy of family physicians, coronavirus casualties are greater than estimated 27,000 to 154,000 deaths from domestic violence, suicides and delayed healthcare.

If people can go back to work, and don't, then they wouldn't be eligible for unemployment anyway.

Wouldn't that be nice if it was working out this way ... what we are learning is that there are instances where the laid off employee is telling the unemployer to not re-hire... most often in the restaurant industry.   No one is denying these people from collecting their state unemployment,  On Top of the $600/week payout from the government..... err American Taxpayer.

Key, that report was planted by a now highly embarrassed CIA disinformation agent as a cover-up and a way to smear the truth tellers who have shown the Covers political forum to be a limed hangout for trolls still in the peewee league.

Some of you get called in from the bullpen to throw slow pitch home run balls to those who have stepped up to bat for the truth. Others are scrubs but with delusional dreams of the big leagues, (Jethro), who have been told to go back to practicing hitting the troll ball off a tee. And other want-a-be trolls should use this down time to improve their limited handicapping "skills", that would be you.
