Folks never like to admit they have been duped.  The media and quacks should be held to account in some manner for spreading the fear like they did.  They were absolutely wrong at every turn possible. On the internet, lies spread fast while truths slowly emerge over time.  Recently, various conspiracy theories have been debunked by fact checker leadstories.

Gates didn't bride World health organization with $50 million to declare coronavirus a pandemic.  Russia didn't reveal coronavirus is a hoax.  Gates, Fauci, WHO and US center for disease control aren't charged with crimes against humanity.

Also Imperial college London found infection rates reduced by average of 82%.  In handling of pandemic, best countries have been those that respond early and aggressively.  However Trump administration wasted precious time dithering.  Despite easing of restrictions, pandemic isn't over yet since most people aren't immune.  National association for business economics warn a second wave of infections is the biggest threat to US recovery.

Trump and his administration try to neglect, challenge and bully the Covid-19, you can't bully the corona virus. Before we have Covid-19 vaccine, corona virus will dominate people. But we can flatten the curve, lower the infection rate and save thousands of lives by applying social distancing measure.

Wearing a face mask in public, it saves lives. Look at S. Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand.

I just wish Trump and friends would tell us how many lives are expendable for the worship of the golden calf. Then, at least, we would have a number to work with. If the economy (golden calf) bounces back, what is the acceptable number? 5,000 a month? 10,000 a month? We have lost over 100,000 in 5 months, so is 20,000 a month considered a "break even" figure?

If we can get settle in at around 10,000 a month, as an average, without social distancing i'd be good with that. Especially if the majority of deaths are elderly and people with preconditions. I know the baby boomers want everyone locked away, easy for them being retired and all, but at some point we need to test out our collective immunities and frankly, we can't wait for a vaccine.
